Courtyard by Marriott Fort Smith Downtown

Had I not been LOCKED out and stuck in the courtyard with no key card access around and having to knock on the window to be let back inside I would say the grass area for pets and relaxing Telling the front desk staff gave no comfort to the risk of being locked out and I had to bring a hand towel down to keep the door from from locking me out in the middle of the night when my little dog needed to go out. The doors were never left unlocked even though the area meant for guests was encircled with rod iron fencing.

The front trash can was over flowing indicating a lack of grounds maintenance When I asked about it and if there was an issue with people digging through the trash I was told we were in a safer spot since the police station was right next door. That was not comforting After getting to our room we realized there was no microwave in the room When we called to ask if there was a reason we were told these had to be “requested” and one could be brought to our room Strange
