Ghent Marriott Hotel

Amazing mixture of old and new together into one hotel. The rooms were lovely and the atrium quite special, maybe unique. The staff were great with good recommendations of places to visit in the city. Would highly recommend.

A great hotel in a great spot

We spent one night in Ghent. The hotel is located in excellent location and Ghent is a beautiful town.

Nice modern hotel with very comfortable bed

Convenient location, renovated but very small room. Sleep quality is poor: renovation works in the hotel still ongoing as of August 2025, air conditioning not working properly (they only provide a thick winter blanket making things worse).

The Ghent Marriott has a fantastic location, right on the river and walking distance from the interesting spots, restaurants, bars and monuments. The service was very friendly and efficient. We loved the breakfast. We stayed in the family suite which was spacious, clean and well appointed for our family of 3.

We found the hotel an oasis of calm during our time in Ghent. The staff were really friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast as well. The location is perfect for the city centre and parking, although expensive, was easy. You can also charge your electric car as well.
