Residence Inn Los Angeles Westlake Village

Great experience! Wonderful spacious room! Dog friendly and they even have a dog run on the property. I will stay here again the next time visiting family in Westlake!

My third stay here. First experience was good enough for me to return and this second experience also good. However, the third time was not the charm. What went wrong since my previous stay? 1. no more coffee and hot water avaiable in the lounger 24/7. When I asked why, I was told because they put the coffee makers in the room. Huh? Every other hotel I stay at has both. So that's ridiculous. Besides, the coffee maker in the room was disgusting. I ran hot water through it 3 times, and it came out brown each time. 2. No more waffle maker at breakfast? Couldn't get an answer from the breakfast staff. 3. The cook at breakfast did not do well. For example, underdone potatoes multiple days in a row. Also, the buffet was constantly empty and the cook good not keep up, even at low crowd times. The other breads, yogurt, etc. that didn't require cooking were also constantly running out. Lastly, and most disgusting, the scrambled eggs. Our first 2 days, the eggs were fine. Then day 3 they were runny. I asked if a new batch was coming where the eggs would be cooked. I was told, and I can't make this up, that someone complained about the eggs, and that they preferred them more "wet", so now they will be made that way. And they were for the rest of my stay. 1 person complained? Was it the Marriott CEO? If not, and know one else was complaining, why do the rest of us have to now skip the eggs. The chef would not listen to reason. Clearly this hotel has decided to cut way back on things like the lobby coffee, and competent breakfast staff. I'm not looking for anything fancy, but every other Residence Inn I stay at does not have these problems. So when next in the Westlake Village area, I will be shopping around for another hotel.

Maybe the easiest, highest value stay of the year for us. The room was super spacious and comfortable, plenty for whole family. The staff was extrememly courtest and we all loved the daily breakfast.

We have family in Tarzana, Woodland Hills, and Winnetka. It works very well for us to stay at the Residence Inn Westlake. 4 years over Christmas holiday we have stayed, wonderful.

It was great. Just need to add muffins to the breakfast menu.

Clean, very comfortable, excellent staff.

This was our second time staying at this particular Marriott and I thought the experience was great both times. Parking is abundant, it’s in a great location, and there’s a ton of restaurants and a few gas stations right around the corner.
