Residence Inn Los Angeles Westlake Village

The thermostat did not seem to work very well at the temperature was fluctuating, which made it uncomfortable. The breakfast was not very good.

Clean, safe property. Well located in town. A couple minor issues: One is the vent or motor for the air conditioning was located right next to the bed. When the air would kick on, it made a very loud rumbling sound. Not sure if this is applicable in all rooms, but it was in the room I stayed in. Secondly, I was hoping to watch a unique program that I could “mirror” using my iPhone on the room’s smart television. This is not an option confirmed by the manager on staff at the time. Apparently not a part of the Marriott policy. Apart from this, it was a great stay.

We arrived early to our check in and they were nice to accomidate us. It was a very pleasant to experience.

I am going to write 2 reviews because I do feel the hotel staff (not management deserve kudos). We stayed for an extended period of time; we reached out to management about being placed into a 2 bedroom. I was later notified that we were approved and could move to the bigger room, we did so an about an hour later I received a call in the new room that we were not approved to be in there. I went down to discuss this with hotel staff to see where the mix up is, Ken? (head of sales) informed me that we were not approved. Also no one in our party was approved and anyone that was in a 2 bedroom wasn't supposed to be and would be moved or charged daily for the upgrade. The other families stayed in their 2 bedroom and we stayed in our studio, 100% this could have been dealt with differently I didn't continue on with it because honestly not worth my time. We have since moved to a different hotel and hotel staff gladly accommodate us with easy and communication. We have stayed at tons of Residence INN and this breakfast is by far the worst I have ever enccountered.

Hotel in a good location. Close to freeway, there are many restaurants around the hotel. And also Costco is just the next block. Only minus I think is that the location is right across a cemetary. Check in and service was great. Vanessa at the evening shift helped me and gave me the benefits for being Platinum without me needing to ask. Breakfast also was good. They refilled the food quickly and cleaned up tables fast too. Will stay here again next time I go to Reagan Library. Only 15 minutes away from there.

Comfy beds, big clean rooms, good breakfast and nearby restaurants in the same parking lot are really good!

It's now Day 4 of trying to contact this hotel. The phone rings and then just goes dead every time. I've tried from multiple phones and it's always the same. They are also not responding to email. I stayed at this hotel last week, which was booked by my company. Upon checking in, I gave my card for incidentals, of which there were none when I checked out. Now I find they've charged my card for the entire booking, taking $740!!!! I can't get hold of anybody at the hotel so if this continues, I will be taking legal action. DO NOT STAY HERE!
