"Cisco, TX trip"

Older motel but not the worst we've been in. Lots of road noise here. No frills for sure.

"Good no-frills place to crash"

If you're looking for an inexpensive, no frills choice then this is it. If you're planning on camping out in the room this ain't the one you're looking for. My room was spacious (even with 2 beds, 2 tables, 2 desks and a mini-fridge and mini fridge/freezer combo) and had enough outlest available for my electronics. Not so good was none of the drawers in the dresser or nightstand would open without difficulty, but I worked out of my suitcase anyway so no big deal to me. Would I stay again? For what I went for (All day outdoor challenge) it was more than adequate, so yes, I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

"Was very accommodating"

Clean. Abilene was out of 1st floor rooms, and I can't do stairs. Traveled down the road to Cisco. Called ahead to ask about bottom floor rooms, he was very nice & said that's no problem. I actually got a smoking room...I had no idea some places still did that. Cool!

the toilet stopped up; the light over the sink stopped working. The staff was nice though I had difficulty hearing and understanding through the the window. Road noise is bad so I had to have the tv quite loud to hear it and the parking area needs work. The misspelled words on the check-in window made me laugh out loud :)
