Art-Hotel Rachmaninov

Excellent service and location. We had an early flight and they offered to make the breakfast earlier just for us. At the end we did not need it but they were very kind.

We had a fabulous 2 day stay! Location is excellent, the staff - amazing! We were greeted by Darya and she was also there upon our check out - a true asset to the hotel. The hotel is a unique boutique hotel that allows to experience bohemian side of St. Petersburg. The breakfast was great as well. If you ever need a taxi - make sure you book it through hotel to avoid any 'crazy' drivers the Russia is famous for :)

Walking distance to all the main attractions in downtown St Petersburg. The staff was very acomodating and friendly. The included breakfast was great. Highly recommend

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great! The decor of the hotel was interesting with lots of original art. The location is excellent as we were a five or ten minute walk from most of the important sights. The only concern was that the hotel has no elevator.

This is a great location close to the main drag and subway, and walking distance to many of the main sites. There are a lot of stairs -- so not a good option for those with movement issues — but we had no problems. The room was very clean and pretty large, the bed good enough. There was lots of hot water. I’d recommend bringing your own toiletries however. There’s a nice lounge where breakfast is served but you can hang out there at other times and order a drink or not. The outstanding staff really made an effort to be helpful and make sure we were comfortable. In particular we are very grateful that even after we officially checked out, a group of us were sprawled all over the lounge until pretty late to watch a game, have a birthday cake, and prepare for an overnight train out of the city.

From the time we checked in, through our four days there, we consistently asked for and received help making arrangements, planning, and getting advice. It felt like being part of a happy family. The rooms, lounge and even hallways are all homey and cozy. From a very replete breakfast offering until cocktails at the end of the evening, they are there to serve you.
