Red Roof Inn PLUS+ Birmingham East – Irondale/Airport

I got bit by bed bugs

This is not worth reviewing it was so poorly advertised as something it is not. While the room was clean it does not make up for the fact the building is so run down. Elevator has not been inspected since 2020, exterior metal staircase was rusty and treacherous, the pool has been empty for years and was an eyesore, some folks live here and were sitting outside their doors in chairs they’d taken from their rooms, and the areas for pets was inexcusable. Apparently no one has been advised to pick up after their pet. The grassy area-which was extensive was a sea of feces. Our dog would not even put her paw on the grass. We had to take her to another business next door and let her relieve herself (which we cleaned up ). Red Roof should be ashamed to have this property with their name on it.

Outside was very rough and the ac unit did a constant clicking noise all night and we got no sleep!!

NOTHING

The fact that they claim we was smoking inside the room when we didn’t ! . They are very rude & very unprofessional asf !. They want to say we was smoking because we accidentally wasted the ash tray over PLUS a drink & show a picture of a lil ass ash on the side of the bed . Anybody would know if you smoke outside in your car the smell will be left on your cloths !! . They did not want to show us the cameras PROVING we was in the room smoking .
