Wildcat Inn and Tavern

Bar/restaurant closed during my stay.

extremely friendly staff including the owner. Who are we were sitting having coffee this evening on a couch just relaxing. He came over and asked if we were staying there. I told him yes he said how would you like some strawberry shortcake. Well, he came back with a great big dish of strawberry shortcake. This it just follows with the attentive and fantastic staff . I had a party here with 11 people. It went off perfectly. The servers the hostess the bartenders are all some of the most friendliest people I've ever dealt with in the hotel industry. I would highly recommend this place.

Tavern and food were excellent. Everyone was very nice, and the food and service were great. The rooms we stayed in were dusty and looked like the bed covers had not been washed in forever. Pillows were old and flat. My room was located over the tavern/bar, and the noise was as if I were in tavern until everyone left. When someone came into the room next to me you could hear them talking. My sister and husband said the people next to them were arguing and you could hear every word that was shouted.

My room included a sitting room, bedroom, and an alcove off of the bathroom, as well as a pair of wooden skis and a Flexible Flier sled! My room last year was golf themed and included a set of 1940s wooden shaft clubs. This place is the ultimate time machine, where the problems of the current world disappear as one goes back in time to the 30s or 40s. The bed and pillows are also one of the best I have ever encountered. Downstairs they have an excellent dining room, tavern room and an outside beer garden. I can't wait to go back! The staff were also very nice and super attentive.

Unless I didn't find it, the rooms have no fridge, which would have been nice to chill my ice packs.

Es muy pintoresco, han mantenido la esencia del hotel antiguo. Tiene detrás una terraza que está genial y un bar-restaurante tipo pub, con musica en vivo, que, por otra parte, no se oye desde las habitaciones.

Lovely inn, spacious rooms. Staff very helpful and accommodating. My friends who stayed nearby wished they were at the Wildcat Inn! Good dinner and enjoyable tavern. Definitely will stay here again.
