Wonder View Inn - Bar Harbor Collection

Very accommodating to service animals. Room was spacious and clean as a whistle!

It was very hard for checkin as the reservation was for Wonderview Inn, but yet had to find and check in at Blue Nose Inn. Large property area made directions confusing.

Great location and charming hotel

Older property, but in great condition

There are a lot of hotels tucked into this dense tree covered village, but the signs directed us easily to our reception check in area where we were met with the glow and warmth of welcoming light and the sounds of piano being played in the large sitting room! We walked to dinner and breakfast the next morning, and the village, while fully booked, was peaceful and quiet! Housekeeping made up our room beautifully in between our two night stay. We slept so well! The morning views of the bay from the outdoor deck area of the Looking Glass restaurant where we had breakfast were stunning! And the restaurant served us fantastic lattes with sweet little biscottis on the side, and I was given a little taste of their homemade blueberry butter with my grilled blueberry muffin! Also, we rented an electric vehicle and were told at reception that we could charge it across the street at the College of the Atlantic for a donation. That was a lifesaver, to be able to charge our car overnight. We were more than happy to make a donation for that wonderful convenience!

Close to town

Good service, clean room, enjoyed being able to use the indoor pool sauna and Jacuzzi, piano entertainment and bar was great experience.

Pulling in to Wonderview Inn, I found signs redirecting me to the larger property next door. The front desk staff was ok. She checked me in and handed me a map which bore little resemblance to the property in order to direct me to drive across the very large property to my room. There are multiple very poorly labeled buildings and only after 30 minutes of driving around did I find my nearly hidden room. The room is nice enough. Wifi good. Clean. Quiet. On the edge of the property mostly hidden. Reminds me of a place I stayed that put Expedia clients in the most remote least renovated room. In short, you can do better in Bar Harbor.

Lovely remake of a motel, convenient for exploring both Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park

Our stay at the Wonder View Inn was perfect. The location was very close to both Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. The room itself had a great view of the harbor with a balcony. The bed was comfortable. Our room was just steps away from the on-site restaurant that serves both breakfast and lunch. Something of note was the amazing water pressure in the shower. Perfect after a day of hiking/touring!
