IEIt's an amazing building,rooms are top class and the beds are really comfortable. Grounds are beautiful, and leisure centre/ spa was high quality.
Service was shocking bad, except a married couple in the bar and a Portuguese waiter that was top class in the restaurant that made up for the poor quality service night one. Numerious staff standing in the hall doing nothing. The breakfast service was very poor. Poor quality food and orange juice that was extremely processed, and my mom got served a hair ball with her breakfast. Tables were not cleared in a timely manner, and food was served without cutlery . Dinner was hit and miss over the weekend.

Breakfast was disappointing particularly given the grading of the hotel.

Staff seemed to be very inexperienced Gluten free options, limited but especially for desert was non existent. When the waiter was asked about gluten free desert options, nothing was offered at all. Not even a plate of vanilla ice cream. For the money and the so called exuberance of location, indefinitely would not recommend.
