Mount Falcon Estate

The falconry staff were professional and knowledgeable . The room in the main building had a new coffee machine a large bath and nice toiletries. The swimming pool is worth planning a early morning or evening wind down.

Requested four poster bed , called twice and it was confirmed. After checking in I did not receive the poster bed. We were told they thought all the bedrooms in the main house had four poster and we're not offered to move. Eating outside felt like we were party of a wedding party ,it did not match the ambience we expect when staying in old manors. We might leave the hotel to eat next time.

Breakfast was good but rashers were sometimes not fresh/ seemed to have been reheated

Apart from comment about rashers above wverything else was excellent

The hotel itself was amazing and the grounds .. Everyone was very helpful and kind .. Breakfast was lovely..

The only part I really didn’t like was the food menu .. The food was nice but would have preferred a few more choices to choose from ..

Our room faced the outdoor dining tent, so there was some unwanted noise while that was in full swing. It wasn't bad, but wasn't good either.

The rooms were nice, the grounds were splendid. Thats about it.

The Room we stayed in was nice however some small changes would really bring it up a notch for guests. Plug points on either side of the bed would be much appreciated. A TV that works or that has easy access or instructions in using would have been ideal. I had a competition the following day and could had done with a good nights sleep but unfortunatley there was loud music played from the marquee outside. When it came to dinner, the price of the sole left a big hole in my pocket. It said at market value on the menu. It would be more transparent to advice customers what the actual price is when ordering. Dinner was hosted in a Marquee with no toilet facilities. The expensive menu deserves a more comfortable setting to give value for money to customers. Breakfast was disappointing. The full Irish breakfast was well picked out from a deli. The staff seemed over worked. Not even a goodmorning respond and not felt very welcoming to be honest. Overall, for an expensive stay I expect way more than this when it comes to service and food from a 4 star rated place. We were not even offered to help out with our luggage on arrival. Its the little things that makes the difference.

Beautiful hotel with friendly staff. Relaxing vibe, comfortable rooms, lovely location. Best dinner I had in Ireland. Spent a lot of time walking the grounds and enjoying the spa (pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna). Good breakfast. Nice bar. Enjoyed the Falcon walk with Anna. Short drive to get to town.

Very spacious and comfortable bedroom. Very quite too. The reception rooms are beautiful as are the grounds. Superb breakfast and dinner. Highly recommended.
