"Quick overnight stay"

We came into town for a concert at The Stone Pony. The hotel staff was very accomodating and friendly. The room was dated but clean. I could see the ocean from my room which was a big plus.

The Empress Hotel is a great spot and I would highly recommend to anyone. I had a small issue with the sink faucet in the bathroom but management took care of it right away. Paradise, the night club, is a lot of fun. Can't wait to come back!

"Perfect stay for Light of Day music festival"

Such a fun place, and everyone on staff was amazing, even housekeeping was perfect, and thoughtful. Can’t wait to come back in the summer! Thanks for a memorable weekend. Great value, too! Very clean, comfy beds, and even greeted at a super late check in with friendly staff and a couple of waters! Thanks!

"Perfect for shows at the Pony"

This hotel, while dated, is absolutely the perfect place to stay if you are seeing a show at The Stone Pony. The room was reasonably clean and tidy, no fridge which was surprising but not a deal breaker. Be warned, if you are there on a Friday/Saturday night, or any night that the nightclub is operational you will hear music all the way to 2AM no matter where you are in the Hotel, our room was on the 4th floor, farthest you could be from the club, and we could still hear it, didn't bother me as we didn't get back until midnight and we were at a show anyways, but don't expect sober sleep until after 2am :-) That said, IT IS PERFECT if you are seeing a show at STONE PONY, it's literally a 30 second walk, it's fantastic. There are also some local bars that are walkable, most notably the WOnderBar and the Robinson Ale House, fantastic, will stay here again.
