Doncaster International Hotel

After reading reviews i was expecting a much nicer hotel. It is infact a truckers hotel and smelled of greasy food. Only used as an overnight stay on way to the airport. Bathroom smelled of strong urine. Would not recommend

Room was spacious. However, the door lock was broken, the air conditioning/heater was broken so the room was freezing. In the middle of the night someone was hammering on the room next door demanding to be let in - quite frightening to say the least. There was hardly any toilet roll in the bathroom. I mentioned some of these issues on check out to be met with apathy, no apology or any reaction at all really. Not great customer service.

Clean room,comfy bed. Good essentials. 24/7 reception which is good. I didn't have breakfast, had other plans instead. I would stay there again.

Very friendly staff however the building itself needs a lick of paint , the room itself had the most horrible dripping noise from the air-con all night long and then every so often a noise like something shorting. I took a shower and the shower filled up with water as the plug hole was covered in hair (Vile). The lack of a restaurant for evening meals is a real pain when working all day i had to go out for food ( there is a shopping centre in walking distance but only has a mcdonalds ,KFC or costa there is a beefeater but is currently closed as being refurbished. the 'double bed' is 2 singles pushed together with 2 single rib edged mattresses so sleeping in the middle not too comfy. No hotel info in the room at all normally there is some sort of info book re check in and out times , wifi code , food offered (breakfast) or times etc.but there was absolutely nothing . Very basic , i cant see myself staying there again would much rather pay that very little more and stay at a more organised and clean hotel that sells food.

Reasonable hotel. I found the staff were very good and helpful. Lacks facilities beyond a bar. Badly needs a maintenance overhall.

Excellent hotel and very clean and comfortable

Good value and good sized room. However, only one hand towel no bath size towels. The carpeting a little worn as was arm chair. A little dated, but a comfortable good night’s sleep
