"Our Stay"

A short overnight trip to see family after the holiday. We didn’t want to leave. Justin and Deb were so friendly and helpful. A lovely immaculate and comfortable room. The breakfast buffet was delicious with many choices to please. We will definitely stay there again when visiting. Thank you

"Inn by the river, modern and beautiful!"

Beautiful, modern inn on the river! I came with my girlfriend. The sound of the river and dam is strong but peaceful. The staff are so accommodating and friendly. Rooms are modern and clean. We wanted to stay another night but inn was booked! We will be back.

This is a unique place, beautifully located, next to a waterfall, spacious rooms, cosy cafe with excellent breakfast, but the best is the friendliness of the staff! What a welcoming spirit. And a good pizza place nearby…

While we only stayed at The Old Mill for one night we enjoyed the handsome and very comfortable room (Waterfall) and the view of the waterfall and railroad bridge and would love to come back and stay longer - and try the breakfast choices (base on the aromas coming from the tavern in the morning). The staff was pleasant and helpful.

Sadly, the bed was way too firm for a side sleeper. I imagine it would be perfect for a back sleeper.

"Perfect New England Inn"

I saw the excellent reviews of this inn 2 years ago when I was planning a trip(which fell through), and ever since then I have wanted to stay there. Finally, this year, the stars aligned and we decided to travel here. I went to their website and saw that the highly recommended Williamsburg Suite was available and I immediately booked it. We were in the area visiting relatives and wanted an extra bed for my sister-in-law to stay with us. When we checked in, the innkeeper helped us to make the couch bed for my sister-in-law, and I also bought some local beers from their cafe to put in the fridge. I was able to whip up a family-sized soup in the well-appointed kitchen for all 5 of us. We were lulled to sleep by the falls! For breakfast we made some oatmeal, tea and coffee. The suite was perfect for spending time with the family. My sister-in-law proclaimed that her experience exceeded all expectations and I have to agree. And staying here during fall foliage season made this a memorable classic New England experience!
