Old Mill Inn

We stayed again at The Old Mill Inn, this time for Thanksgiving. We met up with other family members, ordered a take-away turkey dinner from a local restaurant, and had a very enjoyable dinner. The suite had everything we needed to finish preparing the meal, and Emerson made sure we had plenty of dishware and silverware. She offered for us to use the cafe for our dinner, but since our suite was more than sufficient we stayed there. And again, the staff was great. We definitely appreciate that, especially since they are working on a holiday taking care of us. Em is new since our last stay, but she and Aunt Deb and Shannon were as pleasant and helpful as anyone could be. Thank you all. And as I wrote before, the entire building is interesting, beautifully repurposed. The rooms and suites are comfotably modern with as much original infrastucture of the mill still visible and used. It is all well done, obviuosly with thought and care. We'll be back long before next November, but very likely then also for another Thanksgiving. Thank you again. Joe

Nothing, all was perfect.

This is one of the most cozy comfortable inviting inns we've stayed at. Rooms are extremely comfortable and clean. We felt immediately welcomed by Deb who really looks after you. It allowed for a perfect relaxing calming weekend!

We really loved our stay here. Check-in and check-out are both contactless, but staff is around and incredibly pleasant. The building itself is an ideal blend of historic New England and present-day convenience. The design of the rooms are both thoughtful and functional. I was looking forward to a bit of peace after a long drive and a live show; this was perfect for what we needed. Thank you, and we looking forward to finding a tip back to the area so we can stay here again!

Lovely, quiet spot that’s close to so, so much. Meticulously clean. Welcoming staff. We had Suite 14 … really a small, beautifully appointed apartment with a complete kitchen; even an array of spices. The breakfast was lovely, too, with something for everyone. If we ever return to this area, we already know where we’ll stay!

The location was gorgeous! The hotel was very clean. The breakfast was tasty. The innkeeper gave us a welcome packet and explained everything. We loved the decor!

The photos don’t do this place justice! We got in and asked if we could extend our stay! It’s all about the small touches and this place had no shortage of them. They called me to make sure I understood after hours check in. My family and I were walked to our room. We got the suite that looked over the falls. It was spacious, modern, and had more than everything. Family friendly for sure. Breakfast was the nicest and locally sourced continental breakfast ever and was in a cozy gathering room. Can’t recommend enough. We will be back!

The waterfall and stream provided the best natural white noise. We slept very well. The pastries at breakfast are delicious and the staff are very accommodating.

The staff was great. The breakfasts bakery was the best. Shannon the baker made the best baked goods..Yum. Great fresh local coffee every morning,. Our room looked over the Mill River. The sound was nice. Good white noise.
