Sun Spa Resort & Villa

Everybody from the staff was very polite and smiling. The garden is well maintained and groomed everyday. The little houses in the garden look magical and the whole resort is all looking very tastefull, there are no tacky vibes here which is great. Room was spacious and had a nice ginger/verbena scent. Good pool. Amazing garden.

There were no people in the hotel. Which was ok as it was really quiet but on the other hand rather sad and overwhelming. Also when the hotel is super empty some facilities are not working or dont appeal nice to the guests as its just all dead there. It seems like its not just a problem of the hotel itself but the whole DongHoi city. It’s a ghost town. It’s so sad.

Great sized room, with excellent pool and ocean views just steps away from the large pool. Pool was clean and had infinitely views over the ocean. Poolside/ beach bar served very good value drinks from extremely friendly staff. Good WiFi even by pool. A very relaxing stay, highly recommended

The facilities, had they been open, were the draw to this hotel.

The resort was like a ghost town, with half of the facilities closed due to the lack of guests on resort. Staff didn’t seem like they wanted to be there and were largely unhelpful. As per other reviews, the bathrooms are well past their best, and there was a damp smell throughout the room. It didn’t help that the bed sheets were also damp!

I had booked a room on booking.com with the option for 3 adults, confirmed by booking.com. The hotel contacted me to discuss an additional fee of over $20 for the third person, even though booking.com had confirmed it was for 3 adults. When checking in, the front desk did not mention the $20 fee, but upon check-out, they still insisted on me paying it for my stay. I am dissatisfied with hotel’s explanation due to the discrepancy between the information on booking.com and the actual situation. The accommodation was clean, but some staff members were not very friendly. I'm not sure if I would return.
