Motel 6 Hastings, NE

The pool area was unkept from the night before. Alcohol cup, musty body alcohol odor. Housekeeping failure to serve room.

It was probably the nicest motel 6 I’ve been to the pool was nice lots of kids games to do service was nice doesn’t have the amenities of some hotels but it’s motel 6 not the Hilton would definitely stay there again with the kids for the price

Would have liked a deadbolt to ourside door of room.

Check in was the worst I’ve ever experienced, had reservation for handicap room and they first said they didn’t have one, because they had just given it to a non handicap person. Finally got a handicap room , then the key they gave didn’t work, took over an hour to finally get in a room and it was past 9pm.

Unprofessional experience and unclean room. Very dissatisfied.

Room issued had NOT as yet been touched; NO Maid Service AT ALL. Pleasant enough hour/s aft’ when returned; room having been Serviced. Dirty dishes, food items, sheets strewn and indeed DIRTY. Walked into supposedly ready room; finding absolutely not. Delayed arrival at appointment. Usually like this place/ people. They ‘dropped the ball’.

It was close to the mill where I was working

We couldn’t be checked in “officially” because of a computer malfunction. Then we couldn’t get a key card because of a broken card reader. Staff used a master key to let us into our room, but it was already occupied. We finally got a different room- which was clean and nice looking but the TV “feed” didn’t work so we couldn’t watch it at all. The AC was on, but the heat settings didn’t work so our room was uncomfortably cold. We were told that if we left the hotel we’d have to hunt the manager down when we came back- so we could be let into our room! After an hour we finally got a room key card. When we returned late that night we were locked out of the main doors and had to go to a side door to get into the hotel. There was nobody at the front desk (or anywhere) that night. The police showed up around 3am to break up a domestic disturbance at the hotel. They couldn’t get into the hotel to check on the disturbance without calling somebody to let them in. I could go on and on… but I have said enough. The staff we did talk to were all friendly, but there was not enough staff for a functional hotel.

We had a few problems with water and staff shortage. Management was very friendly and prompt at getting repairs done to faucet. We didn't have to move room's. Despite shortage of staff everything was taken care of in a promt and friendly manner. We will stay here again.
