Motel 6 Hastings, NE

They had no idea how to check me in by way of the hotel.com bookong. New guy could not get me correct key cards to room. Finlly got room and tv didnt work.

Obviously an older property built by some major chain. Unusual as a Motel 6 property to have an indoor pool.

Transphobic and requested additional deposit on the room from us. They did not deny only said, "I know it makes me look bad."

Desk agent was not professional acting. Said he'd meet me later. When i went to ask him if i could have towels, (there were none) he waved me away without speaking, and pointed to another staff member. That staff person told me to go with him to get towels, tried to give me a bath mat. One. I asked if there was a bath towel, and he gave me one, as that was all that was left. The facility is run-down, but clean enough. The bed was clean. The door lock worked. There was no breakfast or coffee. I thought it was about $30 overpriced.

Our baby was born in Hastings and was admitted to the NICU for almost 3 weeks. Stayed there a select few times, wasn’t terrible but wouldn’t stay again. But there was constantly a weird crowd outside and hovering around people’s cars including ours. Came back because it was all I could afford and proceeded to charge me $100 “security fee” that they didn’t charge me once before during my previous 2 stays. Explained my situation and the dude was a total prick. Wouldn’t recommend going here unless you wanna buy some meth from the parking lot tenants.

Very unkept, noisy, had a leak in my toom, the outside looked like a jungle.

This hotel was very clean and although they had limited staffing the owner and front desk clerk were very very polite and kind. Our room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable! I would recommend if anyone is needing a great room at a great price this is the one!

It was an alright property for just one night. Not the cleanest property.

It reeked of cat urine & no elevator. I have COPD so.... reception was very courteous. Would not stay there again.
