Argosy Casino & Hotel

The curtains in our room were damaged and would not close completely so the room was never dark enough for sleeping. We asked the front desk to move us to a different room. They said they were fully booked so we could not be moved. We asked to speak with the manager who was very abrupt. She said that she could do was refund our money and we could find other accommodations. We said we didn’t want to look for another hotel, at which time she was able to magically find another room that she said might “meet our standards”, as if needing a dark room in which to sleep was too high a standard for them. We looked at the new room and it had the same issue. We went back to front desk and told the clerk we would just accept the refund that the manager offered. The clerk went to speak with the manager. When the clerk returned, she said the manager told her they would not refund the first night stay even though we had not even checked in yet. So the refund she had offered was not a full refund. At this point, we said we felt like the manager had lied about the refund and asked to speak with her. The clerk left to ask and returned to tell us that the manager was now “not available” and that we had to request our refund through Expedia. At that point, we left and after spending our time working with Expedia we’re able to get a refund excluding the first night.

The hotel has a weird smell …..

Excellent customer service, super friendly staff! Room was beautiful. Shower was phenomenal. Can't wait to stay here again.

Nice property, large lobby and lodging is separated from casino. Property did not refund all of my daily fee.

Absolutely loved our stay here! The property was beautiful and quiet, I love that the rooms are far enough away from the Casino that you can rest peacefully. The beds are comfortable and there’s several options for food and drinks. They have an outdoor area to lounge and watch tv! Also a park really close by if you have children
