Keraton Jimbaran Beach Resort

I read previous reviews complaining about beach cleanliness, chairs etc but cannot understand why. This hotel is excellent, the beach is clean, the grounds lovely and the breakfast also excellent. Its lovely to sit in the morning overlooking the sea while eating. The hotel is becoming dated as are most hotels in Bali but has its own atmosphere. There are plenty of beach loungers on the beach and lots of wurrungs and cafes to the right on the beach. We had some tasty seafood meals there for a reasonable price. We would definitely return to the Keraton. I had to ask for a ground floor room after because of a knee injury and finding the stairs difficult. It wasn't as nice as the top floor but easier for us.

The hotel has great facilities and location is perfect - Jimbaran is beautiful and very calm. Lovely deck by the beach with sunbeds. Nice clean rooms. Staff super friendly, very good breakfast buffet and seafood restaurants nearby by the beach.

Situated directly on the beach, private (no hawkers), nice traditional Bali style hotel, quite small,but could be so much more. Dilapidated, with tired rooms and bathrooms. If the rooms could be spruced up (nice size -could have a lounge or table in there), menu improved etc it would be magnificent. However our time was relaxed and very laid back.

Stayed at the Keraton as it's architecture and layout displays the great things of Bali. Relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff, well serviced, beautiful garden surroundings right on the beach.

Beautiful lush grounds, lovely pool, clean beach and excellent spot to view the sunset. Very good and varied breakfast. Nothing to fault this beach resort.

This resort has everything you need and on the beach. Breakfasts are a feast! The beach is nice and there a number of great local restaurants along the beach so plenty of options for dinner. Pool is lovely as are sun beds under shade trees on the beach. Spa prices way overpriced compared with other places I stayed.

Beautiful area with lots of greenery around, furniture/ room could do with a little makeover. Breakfast was average and happy hour cocktails mostly ice. Pool was small but beach area was nice. Don't forget your free photo in national dress, book an hour or so in advance.

Love the beach. Menu a little limited. Not good area for shopping, need to drive to nusa dua or kuta. Gardens are beautiful.

Bathroom very basic, with poor lighting. On plus side the delux room is spacious, even enough space for the two cockroaches we had as visitors.The pool surround was uneven with parasols ripped, although pleasant enough pool with swim up bar. Furniture in dining room was tired with stains on upholstery. Recognising it's on the equator the hotel struggled with ants on the tables. The worst experience was the beach. It was littered with plastic and apart from 2 out of the 6 days the sea at Jimbaran was a mass of plastic. Again this is not a direct fault of the hotel but being advertised as being on the beach you do expect to be able to sunbath and swim in a clean environment. Staff were very attentive and helpful.
