Matahari Bungalow

It was as usual verygood. Staff very helpful, pool clean and not too crowded, easily accessible for us oldies. Breakfast good. Grounds well cared for.

I would like for the pool lounges to be adjustable, they are very uncomfortable. The next doors dog, barking no fault of the hotels was disturbing.

Staff were very accommodating and happy greeting you every morning, property is always maintained well, nice big pool, room was cleaned everyday, close to the hustle and bustle of Legian while tucked in the back.

I loved the staff they treat you like family, the security out the front does an amazing job and they have become great friends, I loved how they made our stay warm and welcoming and the manager checked on us the day we left and helped with bag luggage to the room and to get out the room when leaving the hotel. Benny was amazing in the pool bar very friendly was great for money and quality. Good shopping and food options very close by

One thing I didn't like was the pillows in the family rooms but everything else made up for the amazing staff pool friendly service

Despite it being in a busy area, the hotel is well set back from the road and is actually very, very quiet and peaceful! The pool and restaurant areas are great and the food and coffee was fantastic.

We were probably unlucky but our two rooms didn't have great drainage and both showers overflowed the bathrooms, but I'm sure this will get fixed once the renovations are finished - you can see some rooms have been upgraded whilst others are still in progress.

Many of the staff have been at this resort for 10 years and more! I have stayed here 3 times now and recall a number of these beautiful friendly caring staff! I enjoy the authentic Indonesian feel of this resort! The swimming pool is great for adults and kids including the swim up bar!

I am more than happy to climb stairs to rooms on the higher floors however, these rooms are quite noisy with later evening guests, there could be more done to sound-proof these rooms. These rooms could be improved a little with the bathrooms a little safer. You have yo step into the bath for a shower but this can prove to be a little dangerous. It nice to be able to have a bath but the plug doesn’t work properly losing water. When you shower the water doesn’t get away quick enough?
