Denham Grove

I was pleasantly surprised All the staff were really excellent, bar staff and breakfast staff attentive polite and smiling. I stayed previously at a hotel twice the price and the staff could barely look up to greet or acknowledge you-here they were great

Well nothing to do with Denham but my plans changed and I couldn't cancel through booking .com so I ended up going anyway and making it a holiday night-the reception staff said if I had booked through them direct I could have cancelled with no charge -so I guess in future I will book direct and not through Booking .com -I suppose it would have been cheaper too

Food service took quite a long time, but was excellent when arrived and staff friendly and informed

Really spacious room and the access to the outdoor area was lovely. In the run up to my stay my enquiry emails were answered quickly and politely. We got a lovely welcome by Stella who is the reception staff member. She is an absolute treasure to the company as it is hard to come by staff that actually smile and interact with visitors these days! Although I didn’t get to eat at the restaurant the food smelt lovely! I would definitely return! Thank you Denham Grove Hotel for making our minimoon enjoyable and pleasant.

We didn’t have a table and chairs on the terrace but it was a very minor inconvenience as there was plenty wall space and access to the outdoor restaurant area.

I’m still waiting for a phone call on the state of the room ants everywhere even in the bed

It was not clean

Room was still slightly dirty when I arrived, old cups on the floor and some dust
