Nice and modern hotel, decorated as a tribute to Amelia Earhart. The room was very spacious and comfortable, everything looking high quality brand new. Overall this was the best hotel I stayed in Bulgaria until now.

I had the feeling that the food is almost the same everyday so maybe this could be an issue for a long stay. A beach bar would have been nice as well. Consider that you have to go for around 150-200m from the beach to the pool bar if you need a drink or an ice cream.

The staff is working hard,but you can see most of them are not well trained Also the evening entertainment was mostly for the kids.I suggest some live music at least for the adults

I had booked ultra all inclusive, 2 rooms with sea view. Rooms provided by the hotel were with garden view and air condition system view, partially sea view. Considering the extra cost for this option, it definitely not meet the expectations. In addition, several facilities shown on the pictures are not part of this booking (bar shown in the swimming pool area is part of another hotel, a little bar with absolu basic drinks provided for this specific hotel where coffee machine didn't work for 2 months as adviced by the personal. Swimming pool at the top floor is not included in the reservation, extra cost for it. If an all inclusive booking doesn't contain this services shown in the pictures, why are they presented? It's a joke this hotel where they try to make more money, even if you pay a fortune. During evenings, they provide also grilled meat and vegetables, but vegetables are not enough for everyone and the meat is burnt, not grilled. In addition, cleaning the rooms occurs when the cleaning lady is available, not interested if the sign said "DO NOT DISTURB". Cleaning ladies speaks only Bulgarian and Russian, maybe that's why they don't understand what meant do not disturb. Cleaning ladies were rolling eyes when I asked them to come later (using google translate)as my child was sleeping. Manager of the hotel didn't take any action after presenting my complains. From the complain I had within first 30 min after arrival, I was told that from level 6, all rooms are considered sea view, even if they are garden view and AC system view. In conclusion, don't waste your money in a hotel like this where they offer minimum at a very high price.

This is my 3rd year in Amelia Hotel, since they reopened it. It remains a good quality hotel, with clean, large modern rooms, good offer at the restaurant and polite staff. Overall, it was a good and relaxing stay, Amelia & Paradise Blue remaining the best hotels in Albena.

However, compared to 3 years ago, I can see a decrease in the quality of services: - less variety at the restaurant, during a 7-day stay there was mainly chicken/pork as meat, no duck and only once, lamb and rabbit roast. Although, they introduced some already made cocktails at dinner, which is a good point, as well as having fish dishes at every meal. - the cosmetics in the room that used to be Fragonard were partially replaced by a Bulgarian brand and I was given only one body lotion in 7 days. - there was a misunderstanding caused by the maid and the staff (reception and manager) wasn't in a hurry to solve it, until I made a written complaint. I was asked to wait 24h+ for the incident to be solved, which given the nature of the complaint is not at all professional, nor have I received any apologies for what happened. - there was a stain on the carpet in the room, as well as the headboard of the bed wasn't very clean - when the guests were more numerous because of the bank holiday, the staff was struggling both in the restaurant (taking more time to clean and refill the food), at the bar and cleaning rooms late in the afternoon. All in all these are small flaws, but as it is a 5-star hotel, I expect things to go as flawless as possible.

Everything was perfect, the food was good, included drinks were good (not top shelf, but not cheap stuff either). The rooms were clean and the staff was very nice. The facilities included were great, as well as the pool with the included aqua park.

The beach bar could have had more of the drinks from the main bar, a bit lackluster, we found ourselves going to the main bar for getting drinks instead.
