Aminess Younique Liburna Hotel

We stayed in many hotels while travelling around Croatia, and this was by far the worst in every aspect. The rooms were basic and poorly maintained, with cheap furniture, bare walls, uncomfortable beds and cleaning that left a lot to be desired. The hotel is advertised as four-star, but in reality it feels more like a two-star. The location isn’t great — it’s quite far from the town centre — and the facilities are very limited. The pool is small, and there are no amenities on the beach. You can’t even get drink by the pool and the bar is only open in the evening. There is no atmosphere anywhere around hotel and it has no character. The food was particularly disappointing: bland, lacking variety, and simply not enjoyable. Reminiscent of school dinners in both quality and variety. It was by far the worst food we experienced during our trip. Although the staff were pleasant and tried to help, there wasn’t much they could do. Overall, a very poor experience and not recommended.

The hotel sits on the bay overlooking Korcula old town, a short walk away for restaurants, bars, and shops for most budgets. The hotel itself was clean and tidy, with helpful and friendly staff, a shout out to Anastasia for her help and advice through out our stay. She helped especially when we arrived and was disappointed with our room, as we had paid extra for a room upgrade, an upgrade is for room size only, which was on a lower floor offering no view. Anastasia took us to several rooms until wefound one suitable, although smaller, we had a cracking view of Korkula old town. The restaurant was disappointing, due to the quality of food on offer.

The room as well as the whole hotel needs an update. The carpet was in pretty bad shape in our room and lots of the furniture in the public areas has seen better days. Breakfast is good with large selection and a nice view of the harbor. The place is average.

Hotel was in a perfect location, only 10 mins walk into the old town with gorgeous views. Hotel was very clean, rooms were of a good size and very comfortable. Breakfast and dinner had lots of choice and of a good standard.

Staff were excellent. Room was good. Very good breakfast buffet with excellent view on patio. Only reason for dropping a star on rating was located next to closed run down hotel property which had to pass everyday walking along the water

Curtains and carpet need REPLACEMENT ASAP Overall property appears somewhat neglected ie pool area, ocean entry, hallways etc

Just back from another amazing stay at the Liburna Hotel Korcula. Our 3rd year staying here for 11 days again. Superb room overlooking the marina and old town with views that you can never grow tired of. Stayed half board and breakfast was fantastic with such a varied selection and choice on offer. Evening dinner was also good with a great selection of meat/Fish and vegetarian dishes being served. Getting in to old town is an easy 10/15 minute walk with plenty of restaurants /shops/supermarkets and going down in the evening is a must as the atmosphere changes when all the superyachts and charter boats arrive . Just a note of warning that cruise ships do visit the island now so just be mindful when going down during the day.We managed to see The Festival of Lights this year and wow what a spectacle. Finally we must thank all the staff at the hotel for their kindness and hospitality but special mention to Tee on reception and Milo the General manger who have made our stay even more special this year. We stayed 2 nights in a superior room with balcony. Comfortable enough but nothing remarkable. Breakfast buffet was extensive and typical of most hotels but no fresh juice available (only squash) which is disappointing. What makes this hotel is its fantastic location and super friendly, helpful staff. The hotel faces across a small bay to the old town which is a 10-20 minutes walk away. You get to stare at Korcula in all its glory while eating breakfast on a sunny terrace! The reception staff were very helpful in rearranging a pre booked tour for us. A lift connects reception level to the bar and dining and pool levels though the toilets are situated on a mezzanine level which is odd and challenging for anyone with mobility issues. The 10am check out time is a bit inconvenient. This is a smart place to stay for a visit to Korcula (and we would consider it again) though it does feel like a good hotel when it has the unrealised potential to be great.

We enjoyed three nights at this hotel. The room was well furnished and very clean. The view from our balcony, looking towards the old town was amazing. We only had the breakfast option, but this was varied and plentiful with plenty of choice. Being only about 5-10 minutes walk to the Old Town it is a great location.

We enjoyed our stay at your hotel very much. We had a short walk from the ferry and were greeted by a smiling woman with a great sense of humor. Our towel and linens were especially soft and luxurious.
