Aminess Younique Liburna Hotel

The location is good. 10 minutes walk to the Old town an to the majority of the restaurants, next to the beach. Beach is rocky, but there is spots for sunbathing made of concrete and it works just fine. For swimming I feel the swimming shoes are mandatory due to the sea urchins. Hotel is clean and the staff is friendly. What it comes to the rooms and food. I felt it left a lot to desired for. We had a partly sea view. Nothing to complain about it but the BEDS. You could definitely feel the coils in your back. There was nothing between the coils and the body to soften the touch of the coils. I had to put planket under me and sleep whitout it. In shower room there was coming some bad stinch from the sewage. And what it comes to the food. On a lucky days you could fill stomach here but not all days. On breakfast they served vegetables from yesterday and they didn’t seem to ok anymore. On a lucky morning there where fresh veggies. Breakfast was eatable mostly. Dinners were a huge let down. First of all nothing was tasty, pasta was overboiled all the time, gnochies were tasteless, steak was bone dry and no gravy, stew was ok and eatable. In the end pretty much everything was substandard. Luckily the hotel is near to the old town where you could find nice restaurants.

I don't understand some of the negative reviews on here, they seem vindictive, we chose to ignore them, we have been here 4 days now and glad we did. It's a nice hotel, in a great place on the Island, not far from the ferry and close to the old Town, less than a minute from the hotel to the sea shore, less than 30 seconds from the sunbeds, if like me you prefer to swim in the sea. We have a nice room with plenty of storage, the food is healthy, well presented and varied, the staff are lovely, the Island itself is as nice as anywhere we have been in Europe.

Very dated and soulless. Food very poor quality. Just really not our type of hotel.

I would strongly advise against staying at this hotel. My experience was extremely disappointing and unacceptable. • The room was filthy from the moment I walked in. The carpet clearly hadn’t been vacuumed in a long time, with visible dust, crumbs, and debris all over it. • The bathroom was shocking — there were actual feces smeared on the wall, which shows a complete lack of hygiene and proper cleaning. • The bedsheets were stained and clearly not fresh, and the bath towels provided were also dirty, making them unusable. Cleanliness is the most basic expectation from any hotel, and this property failed completely. The condition of the room made it impossible to feel comfortable or safe during my stay. I would not recommend this place to anyone until they make serious improvements in cleanliness and housekeeping standards.

I regret to say this was one of the worst hotel stays I’ve experienced. • Cleanliness: The bathroom was unacceptable — feces smeared on the wall and cobwebs hanging all over the room. The bed sheets and bath towels were stained and so worn out they should have been thrown away long ago. • Facilities: The pool was a health hazard. The bottom was slimy, clearly not cleaned or maintained properly. It felt unsafe and unhygienic to even go near it. • Condition: The entire property is rundown and neglected. Everything from the furniture to the fixtures feels unkept and poorly maintained. • Service: Staff showed little interest in addressing complaints or providing basic hospitality. Service was unhelpful and dismissive. Overall: This hotel is in desperate need of deep cleaning, refurbishment, and better management. I would strongly recommend avoiding it until significant improvements are made.

Hotel is very old and not renovated beds were horrible curtains were broken. The only thing nice was the bathroom.

Great location. Very quiet and peaceful. We will be back.

Very disappointing, we won’t go back. In the middle of the season, the food was cold when it came out of the kitchen (especially the eggs), the waiters weren't attentive enough, so an hour after dinner or breakfast started, some of it was missing (especially the pancakes, which children eat the most). The soundproofing of the room doors is minimal, we received a torn towel, the pool was not maintained. The only thing we can praise is the cleanliness of the hotel, which is on par.

The sea view charge was SO worth it! Great facility easy to access beach. Walkable to downtown area. Had an awesome experience and they also helped us book a wine tour!
