Aminess Younique Liburna Hotel

I was disappointed by my stay. Room was supposed to be an upgrade and it was dirty with a very challenging layout. The closets were on the first floor with a small living room, the bedroom was upstairs with challenging stairs. The bathroom was small and slippery. The bedroom was small and hot. The linen had a polyester feel. On the good side, the hotel is well-situated and has a lovely view of Korcula - the old town.

We were pleasantly surprised by our nice stay at this Aminess Liburna property on Korcula! The hotel is situated about a 12 minute walk from the Old Town/hop on hop off water taxi/ferry area and has crystal blue waters right out the front of this hotel! If you love the ocean, you won't have any hesitation to just jump in. Others who are hesitant of a rocky bottom, can walk a few minutes to a pebbly incline into the clear waters. There's also a nice pool and sitting area overlooking this gorgeous ocean view and picturesque background of the Old Town of Korcula. We were lucky to get a room facing this view, and marveled at the fact that this hotel cost half the price of what we paid in Hvar for a similar type of hotel there. We also had no issues with water temperature, contrary to other posts here. Best of all, the staff at this hotel was super helpful and friendly. Tea, in particular, went above and beyond in helping us with restaurant recommendations, calling taxis and answering all our questions about transportation issues. A note to travelers needing to get someplace like an airport after Korcula: you need to be aware that the ferries sometime cancel and it's not easy to get off this island when that happens. Give yourself a day or two of a buffer (to get onto the mainland) before flying out of Croatia!

Our room was lovely. It had two bathrooms which was great, the lounge, wardrooms were downstairs and upstairs was the bedroom. There was also two bedrooms, one each side of the room with different views.

Great location with fantastic view from our balcony. We were half board and found main course buffet choices on our first night inedible - meat and fish very dry and vegetables cold. Offerings on the other two evenings were slightly better but I would suggest eating elsewhere.

Very friendly and helpful stuff . The property and rooms are outdated. Short 10 mins walk to old town .

Stayed for a night. Avoided half board even though i have already paid for it because of previous hotel experiences in croatia so i can’t say. Pros: -great location. Near the port and old town. - lots of space for parking. Only 5 euros. - great air conditioning. -spacious rooms -Friendly staff Cons: - Small pool with very few sunbeds and it is not heated. -The beach is very near boats and it is not as pleasant as other beaches. - There is no option of real bed for parties of three. Always in almost any hotel, hard sofa bed. Overall: good experience. Spacious room for a party of three. Great location. Friendly staff and good drink prices in the bar. Would recommend.

Everything!! Modem hotel .Very clean.Freandly staff. Gorgeous beach just a few steps away. 15 minutes walk to the Old City center. Delicious buffet stile food.

The Aminess hotel we had a reservation for had a hot water issue so when we arrived they directed us to another hotel that was further away from downtown Korcula by about 15 mins - which was ok. The facilities at the hotel were very nice. We were provided with a buffet breakfast and dinner each night which was unexpected. They really tied to make up for the uncontrollable water issue they had at the other hotel and made us feel comfortable.

Beautiful hotel in a very central yet quiet location! The property is new, and we had a great time—convenient access to everything made our stay even more enjoyable.

I was relocated to the Liburna as the hotel I had booked with TUI in Mljet was undergoing renovations. I must say that I was pleasantly surprised and would have no reservations in recommending this hotel. The overall atmosphere was friendly and relaxed, a very peaceful and quiet hotel. The reception staff, in particular Tea, Anastasia and Jackie were more than helpful with my many requests for assistance. The restaurant staff were also attentive and helpful. The only thing I would mention about the restaurant is the choice of music. It was not what I expected and a little repetitive. Maybe some traditional Croation Klapa or a little soft jazz would be nice. I booked half board, however the majority of guests seemed to be B&B. There was a wide choice of options and something for everyone, including gluten free. There is a choice of hot beverages and fruit juices available throughout breakfast, however you will need to purchase any outside of this time. I was given a side sea view room (322) which had views over the garden and Korčula Old Town and had the sun through the afternoon and evening. A very quiet room. It is a short 10 minute walk to Korčula along the level coastal path and one small flight of steps I have arthritis in my hips but managed it easily. There was a kettle with a choice of beverages in my room, restocked daily, also a fridge with mini bar. The room was extremely well kept and very clean. As other travellers have mentioned the cost of beverages in the bar and restaurant are a little higher than in Korčula, but as I said it is a short walk from the hotel and you could purchase additional coffee sachets in the local supermarket if you wished. The tap water is perfectly fine to drink. All in all a lovely hotel that has retained a lot of the personal friendliness I love about Croatia.
