Hotel dotato di tutti i servizi, camere spaziose e buona pulizia. Unica nota dolente: la cucina!

Hotel situado al lado del desierto. La recepcionista de la mañana muy fria , nada amable y sin ningun tipo de querer ayudar . Tuvimos que esperar mas de 2 horas a tener preparada nuestra habitacion , cuando el hotel no estaba ni al 50% de su ocupación. Las habitaciones son grandes y espaciosas con bonitas vistas sobre la gran piscina, que es lo mejor del Hotel. También me gustó el bar que hay al lado de la recepción , tenia encanto. Servicio de comidas y cena es tipo buffet de batalla , malo, refrito , repetitivo y los camareros un servicio antipatico

Too much less staff to attend to your basic needs (most of the time , nobody at the reception and sometimes you call from the room, but no reply). Terrible food, and more than that, while checking out they do not want to give you any invoice or proper receipt , and they they try to convince you that this is normal (it is too much weired). It seems that they are getting used to groups only.

Ein ideales Hotel als Ausganspunkt für Saharatouren und Rundfahrten in der näheren und weiteren Umgebung. Wir waren 20 Tage im Hotel. Das Personal ist extrem freundlich und nett. 1A! Vom Empfang bis zur Abreise absolut top! Wenn es die Gesundheit zulässt,nächstes Jahr wieder. Das Hotel ist zu 100% zu empfehlen!

Very good in all respects apart from location (some way from town - taxi required, but all tourist hotels are located in this area) and the indoor pool was closed. Excellent WiFi in room, TV had BBC World. The demi pension was very good value - good buffets for both breakfast and dinner.

Excellent facilities and very large property. Nice pool and atmosphere in the evening. Very nice interior, a bit dated but it has its charm. The buffet dinner was very good for vegetarian and good value. Attentive staff too. Compared to other hotels in the area, this is much nicer. Lot of tour group use it. Very good value for money and I would gladly stay at any of their hotels again.

The hotel was not bad, but not great either. Quiet, almost too quiet. And they charge 8 TND = 4 Euros for one hour of WiFi even if it does not work most of the time.

I must admit...because another hotel in Zone Touristique had received a better review in Lonely Planet, we tried to make a reservation there first. But no other hotels were able to accommodate my wife, myself, and our two teen sons in the same room. El Mouradi Douz gave us a great half-board rate and a HUGE, recently remodeled suite for our family to share. The gentlemen at the reception desk were very helpful in giving us advice about guides and activities in the Sahara. We were very pleased with our entire experience at El Mouradi Douz!

This hotel met only my basic needs. The air conditioning in my room never got cold enough, leaving the room stuffy throughout my stay. In addition, it was impossible to connect to the internet anywhere in the hotel throughout my stay. The hotel advertised both the air conditioning and the internet in its Hotels.com listing. I cannot reward a business that does not follow through on its promises.

The hotel looks very nice from the outside. However, you are situated next to the desert and it is very hot. The hotel felt like a sauna inside. Who wants to sleep in a sauna, eat in a sauna or hang out all day in a sauna? They tried me in 3 different rooms and I finally just gave in. The service was horrible. The one nice thing about this hotel was the pool. It was the only place to cool off. Of course they had let all the local boys in from the town so they were gawking at all the tourist girls. It was not a pleasant atmosphere. The breakfast was also a joke. They try and save money by putting out the cheapest food items. I live and work in Tunisia and I will definitely never take my clients here.
