We stayed from October 13 to October 20, 2025.
Check-in was fine. However, when we opened the room, we found stained bedding and very old furniture. We immediately asked to change rooms, which fortunately went smoothly. The second room was much better, with clean bedding, though the furniture was still old.
Room
The balcony door was broken, and the wind whistled through it at night.
The telephone was unplugged and had no cable.
The air conditioning worked but was extremely loud, making it impossible to sleep.
Coffee or tea? Forget it—there was no kettle in the room.
The fridge was completely empty, not even a bottle of water provided.
Ants in the room were normal, and we even found one cockroach in the bathroom.
The room was cleaned daily, but keep in mind: white sheets with visible stains after washing are considered “fresh” and reused. Apparently, that’s standard here.
Restaurant / Food
Dinner was scheduled for 6:30 p.m., but they never opened before 6:45.
You grab your food, sit down—and it’s cold. Completely unacceptable. I have never eaten cold food in any other hotel.
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were always cold.
The food selection was average, but there was something for everyone. Because it was the off-season, there were limited seats and long lines for food. Dirty tables and stained tablecloths were the norm. Some local guests even ate directly from serving trays instead of using plates.
Food was rarely replenished. If you didn’t come early, you simply didn’t eat what was gone—unacceptable, and this happened multiple times during our stay.
Breakfast was monotonous and very basic. Fresh juice? Forget it.
Fresh bread? Also forget it—just one type of roll available all day.
Dinner was passable, usually offering fish, meat, rice, and pasta.
Bar / Drinks
There was no drink menu. Want a mojito or a Sex on the Beach? Forget it—those don’t exist here. The bartender seemed annoyed when we simply asked for vodka and Sprite.
The alcohol was clearly local and had a very strange chemical smell—like car paint. Vodka, gin, whiskey—it all smelled and tasted the same. The only positive was that it was strong, but it was undrinkable.
At the beach bar—no alcohol at all. If you want a beer by the sea, you have to go back to the hotel, get it yourself, and carry it down to the beach.
General Impressions
There was absolutely nothing to do in the evenings. The lobby was small, with no TV, no music, and no entertainment of any kind.
Around the pool, there was a strong sewage smell
The evening shows were very basic. Whether you sat in the lobby or by the pool, no staff ever approached to ask if you wanted a drink or snack. I’ve never experienced that at any hotel before.
Snacks were poor: pancakes and ice cream, or a roll with cheese, tuna, and vegetables—very minimal.
The hotel itself is clearly old and not very clean. The bartenders were rude, and it was very noisy at night.
Summary
I’ve been to Egypt, Bulgaria, Spain, Mexico, and Morocco—
and this was by far the worst vacation and the worst hotel I have ever stayed in.
This hotel caters mainly to local tourists, and it’s important to understand that before booking.
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone—not even for free.
