"Lovely historic inn with B&B service (8/10)"

I really enjoyed my two-night stay at the Lafayette in. It was quaint and mostly comfortable. The restaurant was quite tasty, the hospitality was much appreciated. My room was fancy yet great for lounging. I loved the hotel cats! The only things I did not love were 1) the pillows were hard and uncomfortable and 2) there is central AC but air circulation within the room was not great.

Delightful stay at Lafayette Inn. Historic, comfortable. Bathroom was modernized. We enjoyed watching the kittens play. Breakfast was delicious. Hope to return one day.

This was one of the COOLEST & CUTEST places I’ve ever stayed!! I was a bit nervous booking because of how old the building was but it is worth every penny! They really put a lot of time and effort into the room designs and cleanliness, plus free keurig with pods in your room, and a free MINI CHAMPAGNE and cookies chilled and ready for you when you arrive!! I had to leave too early to enjoy breakfast and got in too late to grab dinner, but I plan on going back ASAP and cannot recommend this place enough. Also quiet, private, and very organized! Ten stars!

Loved the old 1840 building, the lovely room, the relaxed friendly vibe, the kitties in the yard, the beautiful garden, the small town farmers market, the sunset from the upstairs porch outside my room while savoring my complimentary champagne.
