Tout le reste. - le petit déjeuner … faux jus dans un pays où les fruits sont délicieux… - les massages HORS de prix ! - 45 min d’attente pour le check in. - le personnel pas réactif du tout. -… Cet hôtel c’est du vol ! Heureusement qu’on a pu s’enfuir sur la plage à côté. Mais on était chargés et on mangeait au resto en ayant pas pris de douche pour pas faire des trajets dans le vent. Bref on pensait passer un séjour relaxant j’en ressort avec un torticolis. Allez au green papaya 1000 fois mieux, service royal la bas et c’est moitié prix la chambre. Ici …. ONLY 1000 baths le massage ( un massage c’est 300-400 baths normalement. Une bière 270 baths … normalement 80… Les lessives 70 euros !!!!! Normalement 3 euros.

Would not take much take get this to 5 star. Overall the hotel was clean, tidy and well organised. We had a pool swim up room and the views were terrific. The rom was a good size, with a great bathroom and bath. The hotel offers complimentary shuttle service around half the resort. This is welcomed as this is a very hilly resort. Not one for anyone who doesn’t like walking. The only let down was the restaurant service. They need to decide if they continue to use QR codes.confused the ordering. The menu on the phone was different to that on their iPads. The hotel is not far from some good restaurants which was ideal. This hotel is more of a venue to explore as the service in the restaurants and quality of food was just above average but not great value for money. The spa was amazing value for money. Wouldn’t rush back but wouldn’t convince anyone else to avoid it either. Overall a good 3 day break.

Unfortunately our experience at Santhiya Koh Phangan Resort & Spa was very disappointing despite the beautiful location and views. We had major issues with the laundry service. We handed our laundry in on the 6th at around 3pm and were told it would be returned by 12pm the following day. Shortly before the expected delivery time, we were contacted to confirm a laundry bill of over 3,400 THB, despite no pricing information being explained beforehand. We were especially shocked that underwear alone had been charged at 720 THB. Had we known the pricing in advance, we would never have used the service. When we explained that we were unhappy and refused to pay that amount, only 600 THB was taken off the bill, which still felt unreasonable considering the quality of the service. Some clothes still had stains on them afterwards, white items had turned grey, and my expensive orange dress came back looking dull and faded. Communication throughout the stay was poor and trying to resolve issues felt almost impossible. We struggled to get clear answers or practical solutions from staff and there wasn’t seem to be much information provided about the resort itself either. The location is also quite out of the way. It would probably suit people planning to stay within the resort most of the time, but if you rent a bike be prepared for quite a long journey to and from the main town and busier areas. The resort itself is stunning, but unfortunately the customer service and handling of problems completely let the experience down for us.

We arrived at this hotel for a 3 night stay during our holiday in Thailand. It’s a beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. It’s extremely relaxing and quiet and secluded. It has the potential to be an amazing resort but it’s lacking a few key things in my opinion. First of all, the food is not very great. Breakfast is nice and ok. But it lacked variety. Dinner was not good. First of all, you have to use a QR code system that leaves you irritated. It doesn’t work, it times out. The waiter has to check everything you see in your QR code with his! It’s timely and exhausting and I see the staff really struggle with it. If you’re going to use a QR, paperless system, get a better one. The food was average and expensive considering you can go to the next beach and get amazing food and drinks for a fraction of the price. We really regretted eating in the hotel one out of our three nights. We were also charged for ice to be sent to our room! Never have I stayed at a hotel and been charged for ice, never at any resort at any level. This felt like pure greed to me. The resort said it was because we ordered it through the bar and not room service but that is no excuse. I don’t even know any restaurants or bars around the world that charge for ice! Shocking. The rooms are nice. We stayed in one by the pool and it was beautiful but the mattress on the bed was rock hard. I like a firm mattress but this was like a brick. So after my third night I was grateful to be leaving as I don’t think my back could take much more. The staff are all lovely and friendly and I had the most amazing facial in the spa. I really recommend the spa facilities. Although the prices differ to those on the resort website. So be prepared that they are more expensive in the resort than what is advertised. One more thing, the resort is extremely hilly and difficult to walk around if you have any mobility or health issues. The resort provides a shuttle that picks you up and drops you anywhere but the only place the shuttle doesn’t go to is the resort pier. So when you arrive and depart, you have a very steep hill and many steps to climb to, to get to reception. Plus the pier you use at Koh Samui means you have to climb down/up pipes etc to get on the boat. So all in all, a nice hotel with some lovely staff but it’s clear the resort is not quite there on the 5 star front. I think the team managing the resort need to think more about the customer end to end journey to really make it stand out.

We did love the architecture of the place and being very quiet, good for relaxation. Good food offerings too. The staff were very nice and caring.

For breakfast and the seafood market, it felt like they were running out of food options for both if you arrive mid to late dinner/breakfast. Feels like you are obliged to come in early to get the goof things else they run out. The location was a little too far from everything and hard to get to.
