Everything! The staff were the friendliest we have come across, the resort itself was stunning, with the best views of the lagoon on the whole island. Food was also great. No complaints here.

Nothing, everything was fantastic

Everything about our stay was incredible. From one of the most breathtaking locations we’ve ever experienced to the friendliest staff imaginable, every moment felt special. What truly made this place unforgettable, though, was the people. The staff welcomed us with such warmth and kindness that by the end of our trip, we genuinely felt like family. Every single day we were welcomed so warmly — at breakfast, around the resort, and anytime we crossed paths with someone. Everyone knew our names, remembered us, and genuinely made us feel cared for. By the end of the trip, it truly felt like we were leaving family behind. A heartfelt thank you to Jerry, Nocy, Rose, Illy, Luke, Teri, and Tata for making our stay so incredibly special. Your kindness, warmth, smiles, and hospitality made this more than just a vacation — it became a memory we will cherish forever. Thank you for helping make our 25th wedding anniversary trip so meaningful and memorable. We will never forget our time here and cannot wait to return. 🌴💙

What an amazing private space to relax and enjoy life. Aitutaki Lagoon Private Island Resort was the perfect place to start our Cook Island holiday. From the moment you landed at the airport staff greeted you with a smile and are ready to take you and your luggage to the resort where you are greeted with a coconut drink, more smiles and a run down of what to expect. I was fortunate to have stayed it the overwater bungalow which was just the most magnificent experience, everything we needed were in the rooms and having a kayak, SUP and our own push bikes was great. The views around this island are something you would never tire of. We had the all inclusive package so all meals were taken care off so we actually didn't even leave the Island except for a preorganised tour on Vaka Cruise. There is daily activities to keep you busy and entertainment at night. The place is so clean and tidy all the time and the staff are second to none. Thank you Jerry, Nocey, Luke, Illy, Mere, Tiki and all the office staff, cleaners, ground staff, kitchen staff and activities staff for making our stay so enjoyable. Would love to come back some day.

Staff were fabulous. Food was delicious. Villa and facilities were great. Lagoon divine.

I didn't like that I had to leave

Excellent service and very friendly. Mere gives incredible massages. Rose , Luke and Nocy were just amazing!

What an experience! Aitutaki Private Lagoon was magical. Late to writing this review as we visited the resort in February 2025, however we talk and think about our stay at the Private island constantly. We stayed in the Beachfront Infinity Pool Villa and this room was one of the highlights of our stay with views overlooking the lagoon and direct access to swim, kayak or SUP while also having outdoor lounge area by the pool /living area of the room. Our stay was special from the moment of arriving at Aitutaki airport being greeted and taken to the island. Everything was perfect during our stay, the friendly staff, the food from breakfast to each of our meals and just the entire experience here in paradise is a place to relax and disconnect. The island was incredible to explore on your bikes, snorkeling or walking though the shallow water during low tide or exploring on kayaks the neighbouring remote motus. We cannot wait to return to Cook Islands soon and especially return to the Aitutaki Lagoon.

Great place for a vacation. This was our first trip and will not be our last. The staff was awesome shout out to Noscy, Rose, Luke, illy and Jerry.

Incredible hotel. Beautiful grounds. Love that you are given 2 bikes for your use during your stay. Exceptional service and staff! Luke, Rose, and Illys always greeted us with using our names. Felt like part of the family.
