From the moment we arrived at the airport, we were welcomed and every experience with resort and staff was exceptional. The people here are so friendly and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and welcome - Luke, Jerry, Meree, Illy, Shannon and Winter really stand out. The food was great- best omelettes! The setting is peaceful and beautiful- we highly recommend Aitutaki Lagoon Resort.

Wow 🌴 Location is sensational, but staff make it exceptional! From our arrival and introduction, staff remembered names , room numbers and we instantly became part of their family. Rooms and all facilities were perfect. Luke ,Nocy,Jerry,Mere, Illy and all staff we met, could not do enough for us. Going back will be like visiting old friends. We intend on going back next year.

We had the pleasure of spending part of our honeymoon at the Aitutaki Lagoon Private Island Resort, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The resort itself is exceptional, offering a perfect blend of comfort, tranquility, and breathtaking natural beauty. The lagoon is simply stunning—without exaggeration, one of the most beautiful places we have ever seen. Waking up each day surrounded by crystal-clear turquoise water felt like a dream. What made our stay even more special was the incredible staff. Everyone was genuinely warm, attentive, and dedicated to making our visit memorable. We would especially like to thank Illy, Mere, Luke, and Jerry. Their kindness, professionalism, and personal attention made a huge difference and helped turn a wonderful stay into an extraordinary one. We are deeply grateful for the hospitality we received and will always cherish the memories we made here during our honeymoon. Truly, a trip of a lifetime. We came as a honeymooning couple to this rare and exotic resort. We were impeccably taken care of during our week here. Truly five star in Service, location, accommodations, food, and entertainment. Illy, Luke, Terri, Jerry, Nosi , Mere in dining Front Desk all stars: Rena, Shannon and Winta Housekeeping with Melody The evening entertainment on Monday, and Thursday evenings was authentic. We chose to have all our meals here because the food was so good and after a week we still hadn’t tasted everything on the menu

This resort it a very special place! It is not just a beautiful location, but the staff and the service are on another level. From the moment you arrive at the airport, you are taken care of. Winter met us at the airport and accompanied us back to the resort making it simple and stress free. Kay and Marty played a welcome song upon our arrival. Once we arrived at the resort, Jerry, the restaurant manager introduced himself and made sure to let us know that if we needed anything, he or his team were happy to help. What followed was 5 days of the best service I have ever experienced. Jerry, Illy, Teri, Mere, Luke and Nocy took care of everything, including greeting us by name from the first day. They were always up for a chat, it was great getting to know them as they are interesting people. By the end of our trip, I did not even need to order my coffee in the morning as the team knew what I had and brought it to me! Overall a special experience that we’ll never forget! Highly recommended!

Fabulous team members who make this a standout resort, their friendliness and attitude that nothing was ever too much trouble is the key to their continued success and top rating. We were always greeted by name .The food was top notch with vegan options at every meal, which was something I don’t experience often! The chefs are to be commended. We ate at another 5 star resort and their service and food was below par, making this resort even more attractive by comparison. Cleaning was perfect, activities on offer were plenty, and the location was perfect. Consider this resort when booking your trip

We stayed for 4 nights here and wish we could have extended longer. The staff immediately remembered our names and made a point to use them every time they saw us. The amenities were fabulous and the location and lagoon were perfect!! We are already talking about when we might be able to come back again to stay in this very special place!!

My husband and I went to Aitutaki Lagoon Private Island Resort for our honeymoon and it was the most surreal, picturesque and relaxing place. Our beachfront suite was spacious, the breakfast and lobby area was paradise, as you sat and ate in front of the crystal blue lagoon. The thing that made our stay here so special was the genuinely friendly staff. Each person remembered our name, we were always greeted throughout the day and made to feel at home. A special shout out to Titi for taking the time to give us a private lesson on playing the ukulele, sarong tying and making weaved baskets. Another shout out to Terri, Luke and Jerry who made us feel extra special every day, with their beautiful smiles and warmth. We will be sure to visit again very soon, as we could not imagine staying anywhere else but here!

We have not long returned from the most amazing 7 nights in this resort. Not too sure what can be said except, this is one magical place. We found the staff to go beyond the requirements and honestly nothing was a problem. My husband and I have travelled to quite a few resorts around the world and this has to be one of the most amazing places to stay. We thought we had got it wrong when we were shown our room, a Beachfront Bungalow, we didn't realise there was Beachfront, Delux Beachfront, Premium Beachfront then the beautiful Over the Water Bungalows. As it transpired, for us anyway, our Beachfront Bungalow was absolutely perfect as we were completely private, right on the lagoon and away from the fresh wind that blew every day while we were there, which the other bungalows were exposed to. If you wanted to find somewhere else to eat, we found The Boatshed which is just over the lagoon and down to the right, a great place to go. I would also advise booking the Vaka Lagoon Cruise early as this particular one books out very quickly.
