Im currently still here till 22nd sept, i arrived on 8th sept, the chaos in the lobby all trying to get seen was riddiculas, got told check in was not till 2pm and it was 10.30 am when we arrived, 2pm came still no room, 4pm came and finally got a room, me and my partner both got mobility issues and they put us in furthest room at this point. We got into room to be told there was no electricity in whole of complex, so in 37 degree heat we had no air con or anything. We had a look around the room we was given and it was discusting to a point we wouldnt put a dog in it. We went to reception and complained to be given a " better " room, fair do's it had a bigger bed in it but the sheets was dirty, there was no towels or toilet rolls, chipped furniture, dirty walls and floors and dirty lamps etc, phone was there but not connected, there was still other ppls rubbish on top of the wardrobe which is still there as i write this. From day we got this room we not seen a maid for 2 days and when we did we asked her for towels and toilet rolls and she rudely said no. So complained again and finally got a cleaner. Went to see an amazing man in here called Mr Bannana and got a quad bike trip which was brilliant, but then got back to find our english money we had for 2 weeks had been stolen and as i write this still no solution. Food is catered for the arabs no english food and its horrible, when you go to get a plate you have to look fora clean one as they all not been washed properly. dishes not get cleaned away so food everywhere, the floor in food hall is so slippery with grease and the staff are friendly but only till they get a tip. There is cats round your feet in dinner hall scratching like they got flees and they come and just lay by your feet till you feed them. All in all i wish i could just fly home instead off staying here another 10 days but it took us a year to save for this holiday and we cant just pack up and go we cant afford it

ABSOLUTE JOKE THIS PLACE long story short went for 5nights me hubby son and his girlfriend got there at 9.30pm checked in went to room dark walk ways needed phone torch ,both rooms were filthy on arrival no pillows no towels no shower curtain ,asked for items and a cleaner to get rid of the cobwebs,spiders and cockroaches from our room and sons room, got the pillows waited another hour for towels and then someone to come give it a clean at this time was 12.30 young lad came gave it a wipe with toilet roll and wet towel on squizzy mop for the floors, I took the brush off him to remove all the cobwebs and bugs ,looked at the towels they were dirty at this point I was angry and fed up and just wanted some sleep , fast forward day after thinking we can make the most of it. Meal times is hell people touching food ,fighting over plates, pushing out the way to get to counters and then if you find something you then have to find a clean table ,they do not cater for English at all maybe chicken nuggets a couple of days ,not even any chips. All inclusive but run out of spirits or wine by around 8-9 pm then beer not long after, just as the evening entertainment is starting. We had a day without electricity in rooms from 4.45am till 5pm ehich obviously everyone was complaining about having no air con in rooms . feel sorry for bar staff as they only get 7 bottles of each spirit per day for the whole hotel ,only 1 main bar open then beach bar for juice or hotdrinks The place is run down and grubby Im not the type to complain normally and under no illusion it was a cheap 3star break but you still expect clean rooms and something to eat and drink .I could go on but you get the point The only good things were the sun,beach ,and bar staff that were trying there best

Was soll ich sagen das Frühstück ist einigermaßen genießbar. Die Tische und Stühle vom Vortag noch schmutzig und klebrig. Mittagessen die große Katastrophe Besteck so gut wie nicht vorhanden wenn du etwas bekommst ist das Essen kalt. Abendessen ein Desaster am besten essen gehen ist ja nicht so teuer. Alkoholische Getränke nur bis 23 Uhr im Ausschank. Al inklusiv bekommt mann in zwei Kategorien mit und ohne Alkohol. Wird aber nicht korrekt angeboten. Fernseher ist aus dem siebziger Jahren ein alter Sony Röhren Fernseher ohne Funktion. Zimmer in einem miserablen Zustand. Also wenn möglich anderes Hotel buchen. Wird aber in der Hauptsaison genau so sein. Das Personal ist völlig überfordert bei den Menschenmassen. Das immer mehr aus Algerien kommen bleibt vom Essen wenn du etwas später kommst nicht mehr viel übrig. Andere Hotels vie Riad Palm un

The hotel's beachfront location is unbeatable but would agree with other reviews that hotel is dated, poorly maintained and in parts filthy. We found the majority of staff to be fine , our cleaner was particularly jolly and we had clean sheets and towels provided every day . We also had no issues with any items going missing from the room. Our room was basic and in need of refurbishment however the air con worked excellently and as we followed requests not to have food in the room we had no problems with ants! The pool itself was clean however the sunbeds , chairs and tables were often stained with spilt drinks. I was up early every morning and witnessed the cleaning staff doing their best to sweep and mop all public areas however with too many guests and too few cleaners they were fighting a losing battle. On the whole we found the bar staff to be pleasant and helpful, often dealing with rude and impatient customers. Unfortunately as there was a clear shortage of glasses, drinks often had to be served in plastic cups which caused friction with some guests. Some guests exacerbated the shortage by insisting on taking glasses to their rooms despite being asked not to by the bar manager. And then the dining room..... As another reviewer has already stated , don't book a 3* Tunisian hotel if you want English food. If you are prepared to go native and eat local cuisine there is a wide choice of basic but decent food provided at every service if you fight for it. We witnessed large families of non Europeans barging , queue jumping and being obnoxious and rude to everyone, including each other. Once finished, their tables were left with enough food to feed another family , the quantity of food wasted by these people is criminal. It also meant that anyone not prepared to behave as badly as them was left with a very limited choice at every meal time. This situation needs addressing by management and should not be the responsibility of the front line staff. Finally beware of Mr Banana who stalks round all areas of the hotel, including restaurants at meal times, pressurising guests to book overpriced excursions and experiences. We witnessed many disgruntled customers complaining that trips were not as described, but no refunds or apologies were offered. Despite these issues we did enjoy our holiday but would not go back to this hotel.

Don’t do it First room ants all over beds and walls Balcony door hit bed Bathroom door hit sink Got shown another room not much different Third room no ants (bonus) but still not entirely clean but it had to do Towels stained sheets stained mould in bathroom Food wasn’t good didn’t really cater for children Dirty plates if there were any No organisation in restaurant was like a free for all people pushing and shoving no manners The cups they gave you at the bar for drinks were small flimsy plastic party cups which they also expected you to take to the beach so ended up with sand in it Loads of sun beds on beach but no cushions so very uncomfortable Didn’t use the pool as could never get a bed around the pool I had actually booked to go back next may but rest assured as soon as I was home I have changed my hotel for next year as I wouldn’t waste my time or money going back there I had my 17 yr old daughter with me I couldn’t leave her alone as she was being harassed constantly by men of all ages including staff and even the police officers on the beach

Would give zero if it was an option. Rooms not like photos, wouldn't let cockroaches sleep in them never mind people. Dirty, smelly and very dated rooms. Food doesn't cater for other cultures only their own. If you don't speak their language or a woman you get spoken to like dirt or ignored. Dinner time was like feeding time at the zoo it was chaotic. Using their fingers to get food and even eating from the tongs and put them back in food. While there had perfume taken from my room, and when our room got searchedthe cleaner just shrugged and said have another look later. I would not recommend this hotel or love holidays to anyone

Arrived at 12pm and although we did realise we check in till 2 we were spoke to like dirt and totally ignored I stayed positive and thought maybe it’s a language barrier. But it continued . Finally got key around 4pm. Walked in room to find man with drill in bath doing something. Went to tea and omg this was nothing short of chaotic . It was like prison dinner time in fact there’s was more order in prison kids taking stuff off plates. Grown adults pushing and snatching plates. It was nothing short of a cattle market. It did calm down towards the end of week. By that time my holiday was done and couldn’t wait to go home Food was disgusting. But I don’t ever do all inclusive so this maybe normal I have no idea. The rooms were ok for cheap holiday and cleaners were great. The bar staff gave us glass the size of a shot glass so kids were literally stood at bar constantly drinking and us adults gave up in end the drink was gone time ya sat down so we didn’t bother. The country is stunning the pool was brilliant and the entertainment wasn’t bad. I’m trying to find good bits so I don’t think I wasted 2k. But honestly I’m struggling. I’ve been all over the world. The only place I won’t come back to. There’s no restaurants around thank god for formuler 1 just up road saved our holiday

The hotel was terrible. people were fighting for plates and the reception staff were ignorant and rude. There was no bulbs in our room we even notified the reception about it but they did nothing so we went and bought bulbs with our own money. Ants and lizards were crawling around our room it was very unhygienic.During dinner everybody was fighting for plates and when we did get plates they were really dirty with leftover food. I would definitely not recommend this hotel for anybody.

El Mouradi Club Selima Port El Kantaoui Genuine review Please read all!! 1028357806 Stayed here for just under two weeks and returned 4 days ago. PLEASE STICK WITH IT AND READ TO THE END I will start this review with the negatives as there are positives to mention too and I like to make sure it is all read First off although they were polite enough the reception area is an absolute shambles, no organisation and poor communication, left hanging around for ages with little to no guidance on what to do. No ATM on site, had to walk up the road to the neighbouring resort to get cash - even though it had a beaureau de change I still couldn't get Dinah here! Very odd! Food, can it be called food? I have travelled enough to recognise that resorts will use left overs later in the day, I understand that perfectly, however what I can not tolerate is things like left over omelette mixture being used the FOLLOWING day for breakfast, this is disgusting and just asking for a salmonella outbreak, every single meal sitting there was something re heated into something else, this is not exaggerating! The majority of the dishes had no labelling or even basic "what it is" you were left guessing, desserts were nice but the guy doing them got the a**e with you if you wanted more than 2 bits Don't believe the pictures advertised on holiday booking sites like OTB and LH, the pictures club selima have uploaded are years old, if not a decade, the bar had nothing in, just a bottle of vodka and some coloured stuff for make shift cocktails, Soft drinks - I'll advise everyone to be careful of the soft drinks, when you go to meal time you are offered a drink, generally this is coke Fanta or boga lime, this is brought to the table in a bottle, great! Then when you try to take the bottle with you after your meal you are prevented from taking it with you ( even though at evening meal most people - like us, went down to the entertainment bit and would probably order the same again anyway) the reason is that they re use what ever is left in the bar for the evening, this is absolutely disgusting, essentially someone could spit in a half bottle of Fanta and this would be used for behind the bar, bottles of water at mealtimes seem to be fine, I took the remainder down with me every day but soft drinks as I have said were stopped from taking out the restaurant. Water from the machines - these are pre filled bottles that you find in offices etc, however ( wait for it ) they are filled from taps! So if you are avoiding water unless "purified" be warned! You can tell the bottles have been tampered with by the state of the necks, Tables are not cleaned after people have left, I was going in quite early for breakfast before family woke up to get a coffee and a pastry, when I returned ( 2 hours later) with the family my plate was still on the table where I left it, this was EVERY day, not just a one off that I am highlighting, Food hygiene is generally very poor, cutlery regularly needs to be wiped before use, same as plates, Pools "appear" to be clean but obviously you can not tell what is in it on a microscopic level, reviews here indicate a lot of ear infections and talking to people there was the same, I am still suffering with an ear infection so clearly this is an issue and water can be the only cause, like others have said here, never saw the water being tested and only saw it being cleaned once ( guy jumped in pool and was agitating dirt with a squeegee) the pool area was never cleaned, the same dirt/fag butts/drink spillages were evident from day 1 to day 12, have never ever seen a pool area not cleaned in all the resorts I have been to, not even a bucket of pool water splashed over and brushed away! The result was an infestation of fly's. Sun longer mattresses are CHARGED for! Again this is a new thing for me! If you walk passed the side pool there is a large room with hundreds of them in all soaked in dust, they were charging £5 a mattress a day, so for us this would have meant over £150 for mattresses that every resort on the planet are provided as standard, no one was renting them, think each day only a handful was rented out! If they had rented them out for a token gesture of say £1 they would make ten times as much money, In 12 days we witnessed 3 fights with staff, lifeguards all the time, punching each other, believe the guy was sacked in the end but is so unprofessional, the lifeguards don't do anything either, just sat in groups of 2 or 3 around the pool on their phones, now this next bit I am unclear on what happened however a child needed CPR, he was brought out the water by a swimmer so clearly the lifeguards were not paying attention! There are more negatives but I am bored of writing now so I will end on the positives - some of which need special mentions. Our cleaner was amazing, very friendly, helped us whenever we needed, she even took it upon herself to get us some clothes washing liquid to rinse some bits as we had left them on floor, she is probably the best cleaner we have ever seen anywhere we have been, I don't expect the resort to mention to her our thanks however. ( Block 500s) Another special mention has to go to the table server in the evenings, yes we tipped but nevertheless he was very attentive and got us drinks all night every night and sat down with us for a chat for a bit, the guy is a legend, ( aged 40-50) again can't recall name but service like this goes a long way when encountered with all the negatives, Mr banana is a legend too as is the tattoo guy, the staff really make up for the shortfalls of the resort, it's a shame that it seems the resort is very strict with it's expenditure ( heard from that the groups profits get pumped into the better resorts and club selima gets nothing) Animation team were ok, didn't really interact with people as much as other resorts, but they did their jobs and did them well, the animation team boss was really funny and his assistant was great too, At one point it was mentioned during the entertainment that people needed to stop piling their plates up with food and thus being wasted, I have seen this happening on many holidays and is clearly a religious thing ( maybe traditional to create a feast?) it was good to see the resort taking action against this and I hope to see this in more resorts in the future. All in all I can not rate this higher than a 2, purely because of the filthyness of the place and the blatant disregard for food hygiene and pool safety, ultimately if it were not for the staff this place would get 0.5.
