Peppers Beach Club

Loved the place and location but next time we will book a self contained. The spa was great but would of liked a toaster and a microwave or barbi area.

No cooking facilities at all not even a barbecue area.

The staff were really wonderful and friendly. The common areas were pretty well maintained and everywhere felt clean.

The common areas were well maintained, though the pool area would have benefitted from a tidy up each evening. I just feel like a bit of a chump for paying the price I did. The included breakfast was very average with a distinct lack of fresh produce which was really disappointing considering the abundance of it in the tropics. The suite was large but didn’t do anything to justify (imo) the cost per night of around $700. The location is great so maybe that’s the cause of the cost, but I would look at hitting somewhere more affordable that includes bikes if possible (obviously not accessible for all). The gym also didn’t have much. A few cardio machines and weights up to around 10kg? I know holiday isn’t for working vout for everyone but it felt quite dingy/an afterthought.

Staff really made this stay exceptional

Amazing resort to stay at, clean, comfortable, perfect location and the beautiful resort pool was so relaxing. We found the staff to be outstanding in their customer service and friendliness. Housekeeping was perfect. Special mention to Santiago, who immediately made us feel welcomed on our first day and offered recommendations of places to eat which were also amazing. Will definitely stay at Peppers Port Douglas again.

Hotel lacked amenities and restaurant lacked legitimate dinner menu and setting. Breakfast was also quite limited in its offering
