Peppers Beach Club

The foyer smells good as. Together with the light jazz playing and waterfall when you roll up in the driveway it gives a luxurious feeling. Also the lagoon pool is lovely! The sand is so soft its like powder. Ergonomic layout with the "beach" side and then some shadey spots on the other side for us pale folk to retreat to. Also the suspense of not knowing when the waterfall was going to suddenly start kept things exciting. The cocktails are delicious and they let you drink them while chilling in the pool. The staff were all really friendly and all seemed to genuinely enjoy working there. Also food is really good. Our favourite was the octopus balls. I didn't even like octopus before but that all changed when I tried those octopus balls. The location is perfect you don't need a car, main street is literally a 5 min walk away. My husband and I got married in Port Douglas and I'm so glad we picked Peppers to stay at. Overall 10/10 will definitely stay at here again!

We would have liked if there was an exhaust fan in the bathroom and if there was a laundry room to do washing. Everything else was fantastic though!

Location, Breakfast, pool and complimentary parking

The suite was a little run down, needs some maintenance. Bedroom lights didnt work and the corner covers on the wall were coming off exposing chipped walls. TV's didnt have access to netflix. Shower could be sealed better so the water doesnt go everywhere near the toilet.

Nice pool area if you can get a spot, the beach is very close and for $50 you get a lounger, shade and sea view, as well as some great coffee shops and cafes nearby.

No proper restaurant, expected maybe a decent on site restaurant and room service. Everyone books the sun loungers early in the morning, it’s like a German towel scandal, unless you’re up at 5.30 am and of the same ilk, you are not getting a poolside spot! The spa suite we booked was quite tired and not private.

The staff didn’t look like they wanted to be there. No smiles no rapport made me feel as though I was interrupting them when I went to order drinks

Loved the pool

The concierge was awful. Booked things without my permission, but also booked a tour for a speed boat when we had specifically told him we both get very sea sick and only want a big comfortable boat. The concierge also told us all the wrong information about the daintree rainforest. He said we should drive up to cape tribulation ourselves and said there would be an information booth for us on the way so we can get more info. There was no information booth and the walk at cape tribulation he mentioned was under construction and apparently has been for a few months. This was our honeymoon and it was very disappointing how it was handled.

I love the ambience at Peppers Beach Club. My husband and I have stayed at Peppers many times and it has never disappointed. The resort is close to the main street and beach hence there is no need for a car.

I cannot recall if, in the past, care packages in the bathroom were supplied. I found I would have appreciated such amenities in the bathroom.

Location close to town centre but not in the middle of it. Pool was great.

Spa bath on balcony was so noisy you couldn't use it (embarrassingly loud), then the drain wouldn't work to release the water. The fact that people reserved sun lounges for hours on end by placing towels on them but never used them. Staff should police that better.
