Hotel Rotonda

We didnt get breakfast even though we payed a room with breakfast (they said that it was hotels.com mistake)

We made an error on our reservation and the manager was helpful and kind enough to give us a room at no additional cost so, kudos for that! The rest of the staff was quite helpful too.

Rooms are tiny and bathrooms too. Staff is not very friendly.

The hotel is okay to stay for a night. I would not stay there for longer because the tub in the bathroom was in mold and stank but the rest it was good. The single bed was not even and was hard to sleep for my child. Even though it is loud outside from the car noise, it was quiet in the room.

Good place. No frills but clean friendly and efficient. Stayed for one night, so fee parking and breakfast were a must and you get that here.

It was a weekend getaway, the hotel was very conveniently located. Service and rooms were okay.

This hotel is nearly right across the street from Thessaloniki train station, great choice if you need to catch a train the next day. Friendly staff, most of whom speak English well, good breakfast, inexpensive room service menu.

Please check room nr.302. It was a non smoking room but everything (bed, quilt, pillows, curtains) smelt cigarette smoke. All our clothes smells cigarette smokes after staying in the room.

Overall it was a pleasant stay. The staff was quite helpful and polite. The room (a double room) was very spacious and very clean, though it showed some sign of being in need of updating its appearance.

The areas of the hotel that we encountered were well maintained, clean and entirely functional. It didn't take long for the desk clerk to recognize us as we came into the lobby and hand us our key without being asked (you're supposed to leave the key at the desk when you leave the hotel). We were very pleasantly surprised at the number of breakfast choices: boiled eggs, little sausages, 2 cold cereals, 2 fruit juices, thick Greek yogurt and honey, and LOTs of bread/pastry products with meat and cheese slices, butter and jelly. And the coffee was very good! That's not something you expect at a European hotel. We started most mornings with plenty of food and 3 cups of coffee. The breakfast room is currently open from 6:30-10:30 am. It's a basic hotel, but the location and price and accommodations worked very well for our family.
