The location and the history and the spa

The rooms are in need of a renovation and a deep cleaning , staff needs more training especially in restaurants, for the prices the service didn’t match

Clean and great staff

For the price we paid for a king bed room there were several deficiencies. Only one robe for two adults. Half full body washes, an uncomfortable shower head, hard to figure out and use coffee maker, only one wash cloth and a tissue box with only four tissues left with no replacement box available.

Nice spa and pool aera , great display for Christmas

Luggage got misplaced in the wrong room, Because they only added last name to bag tags when we arrived , luckily at 4:00 the people in the room were at the front desk to find their bags .. they got it all fixed up

"Very quiet historical hotel"

Crystal and 1796 restaurants had great food and service even on busy holiday days.

During the new year everything is closed in the town. The hotel is basically the only place open and the only place to eat and drink. All the restaurants are not open during this time frame. New Year’s Day the Crystal restaurant was closed and the golf course restaurant closed and pro shop closed as well. Spa completely booked leaving very little to do as the only restaurant Tavern has 8 seats at the bar to watch sports. Hotel while historic is still in need of renovation and elevators during our stay there were under repair and guest had to use the service elevator.
