Omni Bedford Springs Resort & Spa

Location is great for relaxing stay . Everybody who working there is very polite and helpful . Very polite . Downtown Bedford was surprisingly cute with good shopping for gifts . We were walking every day along the river trails . Beautiful

The staff was terrific and the friendliness and warmth of the people made us welcome the moment we arrived and throughout our stay. So professional and helpful. The hotel itself is impressive and when you round the corner on your ride there, it takes your breath away when you see it. Our rooms were large and pretty with a gorgeous view of the mountain. The Christmas decorations were fun and very pretty, particularly in the front foyer, library and in the front of the hotel. We ate at all the restaurants: the Crystal Room, 1796, the Frontier Tavern and Tillies and had wonderful meals at each. The coffee shop is also great for not only coffee but those times when you don't feel like a full meal. Drinks at the bar in the living room/lobby and spending time there each evening playing checkers and chess and enjoying the piano entertainment before the fireplaces in the presence of a lovely Christmas tree was divine. The smores by the outdoor fire pit after dinner were amazing. (Hallmark should consider this location for a movie!). We did hikes up the mountains and around the hotel and there was something for everyone as far as outdoor activities. The golf course was challenging, well kept and beautiful to play, even in November! We enjoyed the indoor pool and we had 5 children with us who loved doing the youth archery class. We loved the history of the place and enjoyed doing the tour to learn about all the Presidents who have stayed there. For those who are thinking about a destination wedding, the ballroom looked amazing! Very spacious with gorgeous views! Many thanks to our friend Cubby (the manager!) who also made us feel very welcome! Please note: we had 5 rooms for 6 adults and 5 children and a dog! They mean what they say about welcoming dogs. If you are put off by this because you don't have a dog, don't worry.

The only thing we would recommend is that Omni consider putting stairs to the outside to the front lawn from each of the respective buildings. We understand that this might mess up a hotel room/porch, but there are not enough exits from each building. The walk to the center through long hallways to the lobby/restaurants is tiresome and having fire exits only out the back (with a mountain directly out the back) seems to be a fire hazard, particularly in an old building.

The ambiance is so regal yet relaxing…a slow trip into the posh of the past. But best of all: The staff, all the staff, every position is incredibly polite, respectful and accommodating…incredible brand ambassadors for the facility.

Bedford Springs is wonderful. The holiday decorations are beautiful, but even without them this hotel is gorgeous and rich with history. Our spa experience was worth every penny and our room was quiet and beautiful. My sister in law and I enjoyed great food, excellent service and extra touches like smores by a roaring fire to end our night. This isn't my first visit but it had been a few years and now I hope to get back again soon.

Beautiful historical property. I had the best massage ever at the spa. The beds were really comfortable and the rooms clean and lovely.

A massage is double or triple the price of a massage that isn’t at a spa.
