Hotel Pax Torrelodones

Very nice hotel with pleasant staff and good food. Menu a little limited. Clean bright and modern. We stopped off on route to Bilbao and our ferry home. A nice supermarket no more than 200 meters from hotel selling bread croissants and pastries, made on the premises.

Our overnight stay was to break up the journey between Alicante and Santander. We chose this hotel as it was on the north west side of Madrid, having stayed on the north east side before. It was conveniently placed near to the A6 motorway and provided a gate controlled car park within its grounds. The hotel itself was comfortable and offered a number of facilities, which could have been utilised if the stay was longer or the weather was warmer (an outside swimming pool). Unfortunately the hotel was quite tired and a few minor repairs were required in a few areas eg the bathroom and outside grounds. The air conditioning unit did not work.

Hotel was nice, clean and staff were friendly. Facilities were basic - no kettle in the room, but a communal coffee area near reception was available. Ok for a business stay. Easy access to Madrid city centre via public transport

It was Awesome! Had I been in a better psychological perception within my own existance, I know the stay would have been one of many great moments in my life. Being here made the stress not so stressful. I was treated like VIP but I prefer the V.I.P Royal treatment. This place is better than the rating it has.

Quiet Hotel with spacious room, friendly staff and pleasant surroundings

Fantastic staff at the restaurant, the 2 ladies are brill and so friendly. They have excellent customer service and really could not do enough. Loved the hotel and the local area...and how can I forget the friendliness!!!!

Wonderful hotel, within easy each of Madrid(20 mins by bus.) Lovely ground floor room with a private terrace. Comfortable bed, large bathroom with hairdryer. Excellent breakfast. Has a nice pool with a few sun loungers. Situated in a quiet neighbourhood , a calm oasis after a day in the hot, hectic city of Madrid. Would highly recommend.

After reading reviews I booked his hotel. Worst mistake ever. Pool is so small and only has certain mad opening times. The Wi-Fi is rubbish. Staff... What staff!! No help or English speaking. Room was fine nice bathroom and beds and view. Hairdryer and fridge. LOCATION.. no were near Madrid hard to get to proper pain and hard for airport and stuff. Its not worth the effort pay the etc and stay elsewhere belive me. Oh and theres nothing about apart from one supermarket.

Easy to catch the bus to Moncloa, and in Moncloa catch the metro to all the touristic areas in Madrid. Moncloa is the begining part of Center of Madrid. Bus from Pax to Moncloa is €3.60 each way

We used Hotel Pax just to stage close to Madrid for our night before flying out, it worked out perfectly having driven down from Segovia. Easy on & off the highway in a very convenient location, would make the same choice again.
