It was very cozy

The street noise in general , the thugs, woke up on Saturday morning with a group of guys, one in particular harassing and bullying a young tradie waiting for a ride to work, the street cleaner noise at 5:30am each morning, cars being revved up at anytime of the night…..most unpleasant, not a lot to offer in regard to facilities.

Location

I picked this place based on my budget, location and the generally poor review scores of other hotels in the area. Miller apartments is really great if you want an apartment like experience. I chose the deluxe room since I wanted a desk. The room was very comfortable, included a washer and dryer, clothes iron, ironing board. The bathroom was nice and had shampoo, conditioner and hand/body wash (all vegan, if that's important to you) The kitchen was well stocked with all cutlery, pots, pans, cups, wine glasses and more. A hotplate, microwave, fridge were also included. The staff are very friendly, accommodating; they were even okay with a slightly later checkout since I still has some last minute shopping to do before checking out.

While these weren't deal breakers for me, - The bedroom area was slightly congested making it hard to get on from the sides - The balcony, while great, didnt have a way of closing the window, so it was open (mind you the balcony door was able to be closed shut so this wasn't a concern) but made it difficult to sit in the balcony during the cold winter months - also not a huge complaint, but the walls were quite thin, so at times if there were other occupants passing by the corridor outside and talking, it could be heard quite well inside my room - the shower head wasnt really great None of these ruined my experience, so I wouldnt deduct any points for this.

The apartment was large, clean and well equiped. It was in a perfect location right in the cbd. The reception staff were excellent especially Simar who was polite, friendly and very knowledgeable. We would definitely stay here again.
