Cascade Gardens

The apartments were a short walk to the boardwalk - just over a block - and about 10 minutes to the lagoon/bars/market/main area of Cairns city. The room itself was very clean and bed was comfortable. The cupboards, kitchen supplies and bathroom were more than adequate for my 9 day stay. The accomodation was very quiet at night and most of the day. Wifi was fast and I had Netflix and Prime TV - don't know whose login but it was appreciated :D

Only thing about the bathroom was I would've appreciated face washers and the shower pressure was very low, also hot water took a very long time to filter through and not very hot at all (not good for fatty dish washing). The couch was a bit uncomfortable - too soft, maybe worn out under cushions??? I was on the bottom floor looking out onto car park which wasn't great, especially at night when you might want the windows open for a breeze and everyone can see into your room but was still very good. Fortunately I had to be out of bed early but probably would have been a bit annoyed by the use of the extra 'guest toilet' located near my room which started banging doors very early in the morning. I think I probably had the worst location for room in the block though and others would be much better.

Excellent location. Very big comfortable bed. Loved having a washing machine. Secure car park.

Just a little old fashion

Self contained 1 bedroom apartment with full sized fridge washing machine and dryer. It was very quite and the off-street parking was secure. A short walk to esplanade and city centre.

This was a fabulous place to stay in Cairns! Close enough to everything, but away from the noise and bustle. Secure parking made it so easy. The room was well appointed and clean. The pool area was lovely.
