"Not the amenities you remember"

If you’re booking for the great breakfast, keep looking. This may just be a casualty of the post-COVID loss of amenities, but breakfast has gone downhill. Waffles and omelets are now an up charge from the buffet. The eggs, bacon, and potatoes were cold as was the hot water for tea. The orange juice was orange in color but not flavor. The pastries were just this side of stale. For $15 pp or $5 for a small a la carte pastry, stay at a neighboring property and actually get hot waffles with your breakfast OR eat elsewhere. Also the bar is closed weekends and housekeeping only services the room every other day. The property and the staff are nice. The room was clean and they were very prompt with extra linens. Would I stay there again, probably not. Should you stay there, depends on your priorities.
