Hilton Garden Inn Dallas Lewisville

The hotel is great, the lobby is spacious, the pool is large, with a hot tub, but super sunny in the mornings. The outdoor area with fireplace is gorgeous, Nice bathrooms and rooms. Well functional refrigerator and cabinets for snacks.m Now for the negative… In 19 years of staying in Hilton hotels, I have never been charged for breakfast. So I didn’t ask, nor did I see the chalkboard of the prices. I didn’t see the board , due to vision loss/blindness. I was a bit shocked to get a $20.50 bill for the 2 scrambled eggs and juice that I had, for 1 personlm This is the only hotel, of any brand, thst did not have iced water dispenser in the lobby. We think it is so that customer ps have to purchase water. My son was going to get a beer, for the outdoor fireplace. Nit st $9 each. If you eat out, or get groceries to make sandwiches, you will be well pleased. If you can’t leave tge hotels food and beverages will equal tge cost of tge room,

Kayla checked me in when I arrived. She is such a gem. Very professional, kind and thorough. She is a great representation of customer service in a world that has lost that touch. She is truly an asset to your property and the Hilton flag. Thank you Ms. Kayla, you will go far in life!!

Around 4 AM, I was woken when a rodent made contact with me and then scurried across my wife. At that point, we no longer felt safe in the room. With our kids asleep, we stayed until morning, but reported it immediately. What was most disappointing was management’s response. At first, they only offered half off the night where it happened. After pushing, we finally received a refund for that one night only. Considering the severity of what occurred, this fell far short of what should have been offered. I’ve attached photos showing the headboard gap under the bed where the rodent appeared to enter. This experience was unsettling and unacceptable. Pest control and management practices clearly need serious attention here.
