Hotel SOL

Our family had a wonderful time. Staff was friendly. The room was a little small but suoer comfy. The hotel is right on the beach. The only issue i had was that hotel.com doesnt inform you that there are two properties one is acroos the street and one is on the beach. Also i thought i booked a room that opened up to the beach but it wasn't. Staff got me steps from the beach and in the end it was just as good. If you are wanting ocean side be sure to call the property. Overall it was an amazing stay and a great price would recomend!!

It was right on the beach and Dunkin donuts was really close by along with a small store.

Killed two roaches on the first morning. Fire alarm went off at 1:30pm and stayed on for 15 to 20 minutes. After it shut off it went off 3 more times only for a few seconds each time. Then someone banging on something for another 10 minutes after the alarms went off.

Great location and great service. Staff was superb and the cleanliness was above expectations.

Always a great stay! We are repeat customers and love it here! Easy access to the beach, clean rooms, a nice pool, friendly staff! Can’t ask for anymore.

Terrible service, broken elevator, doesn't look like the photos, old rooms in need of renovation, rude staff and they even yelled at my children, in short, the worst stay we've ever had in our lives, I don't recommend it

Broken elevator and we were on the 3rd floor. Shower didn’t work. Very low water pressure and either hot or cold water. Nothing inbetween. Couch was supposed to be pull out bed but it wasn’t. Desk staff weren’t helpful or nice. There was even more……

Initially everything went very well. We arrived early and they kind enough to let us check in before official check in. Upon entry the room looked very clean and had a fresh smell of a room recently cleaned - fresh and inviting. We enjoyed the beach which was very close, and the pool, which was great. Then we came into the room to take a shower before dinner and both the toilet and shower were overflowing. The gentleman manning the desk apologized and said the maintenance man was gone for the day, but he came in with some Drain-O of some sort and it helped to drain the tub. He said that someone had clogged the public toilet ( ext door to our room) and it was impacting our room and the room beside us. This was not a big deal to us, as this is human error and out of their control. Everything else was great up to that point. We then went out for dinner and came back to discover theee GIANT cockroaches in the room. We are Floridians and we know well that if there are three giant cockroaches there are definitely more. This made our skin crawl and there was no way we were going to turn out the lights and lie down to sleep in the room. I messaged the office earlier to inform them of why we left immediately after seeing the roaches (around 9:00 pm) and no one bothered to reply. It’s unfortunate as we thought we had discovered a nice getaway from Tampa but now we will never return.

It was a short walk to the beach, easy to check-in.

The water pressure was low in the bathroom. The key to the room door stop working an hour before our check out time. Lucky a cleaning staff was nearby to let us back in.
