Hotel Himalaya Frankfurt City Messe

Well yeah, the hotel is not a 5 stars, but we enjoyed our brief stay there. You have to share the restroom, your room has just the shower in it, also the TV has few channels, all of them in German, and even though there is WiFi, the signal is very very poor. But on the other side, the bed is incredibly comfortable, the shower temperature is great, and the breakfast is heaven! Definitely more than I was expecting! And the location is pretty cenric to everything you might want to see in Frankfurt. Don't be afraid to stay here, is worth it :)

We only stayed one night as the rooms and the shared toilet were extremely dirty. There was mould in the shower and the light didn’t work. :/

The hotel is within 10min walk from Hbf. It's located in quiet area. I find it's selling points is comfortable bed in terms of softness, not size. I also enjoyed sufficient breakfast. Restaurant staffs are friendly.

This is a typical hostel. The room was clean. Bedding was clean. Shared toilet was clean. Only wish it had a way to adjust the heat/air. Smells like smoke. Overall good for a night’s stay. Safe. I’d stay their again.

We stayed there for 1 night- family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children). Chose this hotel as was close to the main train station and offereed 4 beds ans a spacius room. This turned out to be very true. Hotel room biggher than standard rooms. No foyer but we didn't need it. Breakfast quite basic but enough included ham, cheese, tomatoes, pepper, cucumber, sausages, scrambled eggs. , baked beans, yogurt, cornflakes, cakes, tea and coffee, fresh breadrolls, toast, bread. I would recommend

Within close walking distance to the Main train station. The staff is friendly, the room was clean, and in the heat of August, provided a floor fan in the room. Also provided an electric hot water kettle in the room, with powdered coffee, tea bag, and powdered condiments. Very nice and thoughtful! The breakfast quality was "good", the quantity was ample, and the staff kept the provisions well attended to. There is a lift and the WLAN (wi-fi) was strong. Although the property is older, the owners have made up for the cosmetics of the building by providing the traveler with nice, modest amenities that can make a difference when tired. Again, the friendly staff helps.

It was overall very nice. Nice staff and clean. The only complaint I have is the the shower and toilet (at least in this room) were not actually in the room but down the hall. They were still private but it was annoying to walk down the hall to use them.

Was not a good first impression, but as I stayed on. It was not that bad. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The rooms are satisfactory; soft but weird-feeling matrasses with no air conditioner. No kitchen facilities (to make tea/coffee) at anytime after breakfast and no mini-fridge in the room; much less cups and a jug to boil water. Having written that statement the hotel does provide value for money. The breakfast is excellent (and I'm a hard judge when it comes to breakfast!) Strictly the hotel is barely two star but the price is attractive and the location (12 minute walk to the main train station) is also appealing. The staff are knowledgeable in regard to activities for tourism and hints for Germany etc. For circa 45-47E/night one cannot complain or if one wishes to complain then book the Crowne or the Sheridan.
