Für unsere Kinder die schönste Unterkunft im ganzen Urlaub! Sehr aufgeschlossene Betreiber mit guten Tipps für die nähere Umgebung und die weitere Reise. Tolles Frühstück, dass wir Dank der kleinen Küche im Zimmer individuell anpassen konnten. Besonders hilfreich war für uns das Außengelände, hier konnten wir Grillen, Tischtennis spielen oder einfach am Lagerfeuer sitzen.

Wir haben kurzfristig gebucht und leider das Zimmer neben der Eismaschine bekommen. Die ist einfach zu laut, ich habe mit Ohrstöpseln geschlafen.

Great cabin rooms! Friendly staff. Good lodge area with breakfast and games. Our kiddo had a great time there.

The breakfast had multiple options and was very good. I liked the creative use of space and decoration that the current owners have achieved. Also, the staff allowed us to borrow their bikes after we had checked out and return them later in the day.

This is a roadside lodge, so the noise of Hwy 89 at night and in the morning is constant, especially during high season. we made the mistake of waiting to the last minute to book a room during the busiest time of the year.

This property is cozy and adorable. It is perfect for both families and couples and gives the perfect amount of nostalgia for the Tahoe I remember as a kid. The family that operates this property is so helpful and kind and makes the whole experience feel like you are visiting friends. My kids loved the s’mores around the fire pit at night, playing cornhole with new friend, the vintage games inside the lobby, and the free flowing hot chocolate. My sister and I enjoyed the bikes available to take out the bike trail to Tallac House right outside the door and the thoughtful and unique touches to the decorations in each room. We love Fireside and can’t wait to come back next summer.
