Sleep Inn & Suites Laurel near Fort Meade

Manager was very shady and RUDE (H. Kamrul) - wanted CASH for the dog fee, moved us from the 2nd floor (when he realized we had a dog) onto the 1st fl in a room that had stucko peeling from the walls, a screen that wouldn't close from the outside, a (so-called) fitness center where all equipment (treadmill and elliptical) were broken. Dismal coffee and bread service. The refreshment machine was empty. Plus you had to drive in shady neighborhoods for about 15 minutes off of Hwy 95. NOT convenient. Just an overall horrible experience. This hotel should NOT be on Bring Fido list!

The price ws fine.

The room had black mold on the curtains and dirty spots on the wall. In addition, the pool was not open and I was told when I called the the pool was open. The tub was filty and in dire need of replacement. The only good thing about this hotel was the price. Breakfast was awful.

Employees were amazing and very helpful

The pool hasn’t been open for 2 years. This has been my go to spot for a few years. Not anymore. The people at the front desk are rude. The people in the lobby area are sus. They still have the 2020 plexiglass shield at the front desk. Who and what are they protecting themselves from. The shield makes you yell-putting all of your personal business out to everyone because the way that area is built, everything you say carries. My first room was in the first floor, facing the back. People were walking over the fence and walking past my room. I felt unsafe and asked to be moved. The guy asked me what did I use in that room and when I told him that I used the soap and a towel to dry my hands, he was annoyed. I was in the room for all of 10 minutes. I was moved to the second floor. The room smelled clean but there were stains on the bathroom wall. Not sure what they were but I was too frustrated to be moved again. The ice machine is a health code violation. They now charge a $100 deposit which they didn’t before. I won’t be staying there again.

The room was very clean. Bed comfortable.

The toilet had issues, but was able to be addressed and fixed.

El cuarto que yo había reservado no fue es el que me entregaron y luego llegué y me dieron El cuartocon dos camas lo cual yo no había ordenado eso en línea tuve que bajar a recepción de nuevo para que me dieran el cuarto que yo había reservado y la llave no trabajaba y tuvimos que regresar para que activaran la llave.😞
