The Metropolitan Hotel and Spa New Delhi

We stayed here at the beginning and end of our golden triangle tour. The hotel is clean and the staff are very welcoming. The spa is lovely. We were particularly impressed by how well labelled the food was in the Zing restaurant ( vegan clearly labelled) there was also a very good selection of vegan food on the buffet (there was also a vegan menu, although they didn't have everything that was on it!) The restaurant manager Haredndra Singh was very helpful.

I had a great stay. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The cleaner for our room Nanak Rathor did an excellent job very respectful and helpful. My room was spotlessly clean. Thanks so much Nanuk.

The WiFi is pathetically slow. The basic speed is 2mbps/sec. For a higher speed they charge extra. There is an event going on in the grounds and music will be playing till 11:00 PM. They claim to be a 5 star hotel! Really?

This is definitely not a 5-star hote*. Please stay away if you are looking for a genuine 5-star experience. The basic infrastructure itself is deeply flawed — the flush was not working properly, and after taking a shower the entire bathroom gets flooded, which is completely unacceptable for a hotel claiming to be in the luxury category. The gym is minuscule and pathetic, nowhere close to what one would expect from a premium property. Overall maintenance and attention to detail are extremely poor. It is quite clear that the hotel is over-hyping its rating purely because of its proximity to Connaught Place and is trying to take undue advantage of the location by *charging an unreasonably high tariff*. Unfortunately, the service and facilities do not justify the price at all. If you value comfort, quality, and a true 5-star standard, this is not the place for you.

We stayed at the Metropolitan Hotel during December 2025 - January 2026. Very well situated and in away from the noisy hustle and bustle. Also within walking distance to a few restaurants, foreign exchange, pharmacy and laundry service. Excellent service from everyone (front desk, housekeeping, dining, concierge and luggage desk). A special mention to Ashutosh and Mahak. We felt like family :) Rooms are spacious and clean. Good breakfast variety for vegetarians.

All the way from Mauritius, We had an amazing week in the hotel .. from day 1.. from breakfast to dinner it is just yummy .. The staffs are so helpful and dedicated especially the restaurant staffs, we met two hardworking, professional and diligent staffs namely Vishal who does the best chai and hot chocolate and Abhishek who has been always helpful in choosing the right dishes for us .. The whole restaurant staffs are very welcoming.. The Thai restaurant on the first floor, amazing delicious food.. hats off to the chef and staffs.. The rooms are very clean .. overall we had an amazing experience and whenever I am coming to New Delhi that will be the hotel we will definitely come again .. five star plus rating .. Thank you

The hotel is very sutting. When i came hear from starting everyone assist mei veri nicely mehak and shobhit help mei in check in and check out food was amazing romms were very clean we will definately come again thank you

Very rude staff . If you need help they won’t provide any help . Don’t go there . When you travel and go to a five stars hotel you expect to be able to trust your hotel staff . We went from Canada and had a very bad experience

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Metropolitan and Spa, Delhi in the beginning of 2026. The hotel offers competitive pricing without compromising on comfort or quality. The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable, making the stay truly relaxing. It is well situated being 30 min drive to Ambience mall. We ate both at the Zing and Sakura restaurant. The food was excellent, with great taste and good variety. A special mention goes to the Zing Restaurant staff, who made the dining experience exceptional. Special thanks to Indu, Vishal, and Abhishek for their warm hospitality, professionalism, and attentive service. They truly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. In general, the staff were extremely helpful! We did use the Spa facilities for massage and were very pleased with the service. Overall, it’s a great hotel offering excellent service, delicious food, and great value for money. I would highly recommend this hotel and would be happy to stay here again.
