The Queen, A Victorian Bed & Breakfast

Room was so comfy and nicely decorated. The staff were super nice and helpful. Breakfast was spectacular!

Hadn't stayed at a B&B before - interesting experience. Loved the historical flavor and the interaction with Nancy (the amazingly interesting hostess). Breakfast all good - very fresh and tasty

Very nice and clean. A lot of character and charm. Staff were great! Very accommodating and helpful on things to do in town. Breakfast was a great experience! Absolutely delicious! We really enjoyed our stay!

Not anything. Felt like home.

We had a delightful stay. The residential neighborhood had convenient off-street parking directly in front of the property. The breakfasts were delicious. Nancy is a fabulous host and thought of every little thing we could need - a basket of forgotten toiletries, an in-room mini fridge stocked with beverages, and popcorn and access to streaming services for a movie night if desired. She was also very knowledgeable about the area and gave us great suggestions for local eateries.

A treasure of a place. The owner takes great care with her guests and it shows in many ways. The attention paid to breakfast, the stocking of the room fridge, just the kindness of all of it was terrific. If you can't do stairs this might not be for you. I was on the top floor in the Governor's suite, which was three flights up. Loved learning bout the area from a local who'd been there forever. you won't be disappointed here.

The Queen is a lovely property, and Nancy is a lovely, generous hostess. The surroundings are gorgeous, and the breakfast is delicious every time.

The Queen is in a quiet neighborhood in a historical town. It is a well cared for property full of antiques and offered a delicious full breakfast. The bed was high and very comfortable. Our room did not have shower and we did not use the tub. The owners were very responsive. We would return.

Lovely B&B in a pretty town. However, it is decorated more like a full to overflowing antique shop! Very comfy bed, nice breakfast and Nancy is a wealth of knowledge.

Please reserve with caution!!!!! . Owners canceled without legitimate reason unexpectedly after reservation was made months prior!!!! Our son is graduating from Penn State May of 2025 . We have heard horror stories about families not finding accommodations for this once in a lifetime event . Also, a member of our party has cancer so we wanted to start our search early. When we began our search, we noticed that many of the available homes had already increased their prices for that weekend as is expected. We assumed this was the case for this establishment. We fell in love with the home offered by The Queen BNB. It would be a relaxing retreat ( especially for our member with cancer) for such an exhausting weekend. We made the reservation (via Expedia) and paid in full . They advertised a strict “no cancellation” policy so we assumed this also included them . We were wrong !! We received a notice 2 months after making the reservation that they were canceling ( claiming they do not make reservations that early) and they could not reverse the charges !! We would have to contact Expedia directly to receive our fully prepaid charges ! I did lodge a complaint with Expedia and was told that this was not an acceptable reason to cancel and if this behavior continues, the BNB would be removed from Expedia and VRBO. Expedia did look into the owner’s own rules, and they did not have a policy about not accepting reservations within a certain time frame. We are now on the search again. Please be aware when making reservation !
