Hotel Van Cleef

A truly excellent hotel. The room was amazing, very spacious, super clean and well presented. All staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. Located in a peaceful area but so close to everywhere. An excellent choice in Bruges.

This place is enchanting with incredible location, and beautifully furnished. You could not find better staff; Rebecca was so helpful in her recommendations around Bruges making restaurant reservations and nothing was too much trouble! Even in Brussels and Antwerp she guided us to some excellent spots. Thanks again for a wonderful stay.

The view from the suite was lovely. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The hot chocolate as a welcome drink was the best hot chocolate ever! Love the decoration and all the details.

The coffee machine didn’t work in one of our rooms.

Outstanding service, very welcoming and beautiful hotel. Luxury at its best. We stayed for my husband’s 50th birthday treat and we were made to feel very special.

Stunning hotel, terrace right by the canal, perfect for drinks and relaxing

Nothing quite compares to spending the holidays visiting the Christmas market in Bruges and staying at the Hotel Van Cleef, which made such positive impression on us during our first visit in June 2025. We knew we had to come back. The boutique hotel, a "cobble" stone's throw from the Christmas market, was beautifully decorated for the season. It was so cozy: the roaring fire in the lobby and exposed wood beams in our room perched above a canal. The owners (Frederik, Pascal, Arlette and Arnaud) make you feel like family and go out of their way for their guests. Rebecca and the other staff members were incredibly kind and helpful with answering questions, making restaurant reservations, arranging a car service, etc. On Christmas Eve, the hotel had singers and champagne for a truly memorable experience. We can't wait to return!

Beautiful, very cozy, welcoming and the team went above and beyond to makes us feel at home (if by at home you mean having staff that treat you like royalty). They were also very helpful and recommended places to visit and eat. Breakfast was a delight! Everything was delicious, especially the chef's specialty: eggs Benedict (highly recommend)! A pity we had to leave and didn't get to try the afternoon tea! The location is stunning, tastefully decorated, the room was very comfortable, clean and with all the amenities. And it was within walking distance from the centre (a straight line to the historical buildings and shopping area). The parking is safe and has a charging port for electric cars.

The staff Sonny is the best.
